Such an amazing restaurant! Everything was very clean and welcoming, the food tasted truly authentic and was clearly freshly made. The service was professional, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. You can really tell they care about quality. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back.

Nice staff but unfortunately the food was not on par with any other sushi place I have been to. I ordered a sashimi plate and a cucumber avocado roll. There were some bones in the Salmon and the scallops were warm, with some tough spots. I think it was freezer burn. The rice on the rolls was mushy. My daughter loves going to eat sushi and was also disappointed. We went to McDonald’s after. If you check this place out, maybe try the cooked dishes, I don’t recommend the sushi.

The sushi had good flavour but the maki roll was cut extremely thin and the rolls were also a small diameter (by far the thinnest pieces I have ever seen). I eat at a lot of sushi restaurants. It was sad to see how small a thin the maki roles were. Half the thickness of any all you can eat restaurants. Also no thought was put into plating the food and all our order arrived on one plate pressed next to each other. That also meant we had to waited a long time while all the roles were finished. We were the only people in the restaurant. The taste was great but not good enough that I would come back.

This spot is consistently a 5/5 stars for me! They have something for everyone, even if you’re newer to sushi they have tons of options. I’ve tried tons of different things from the menu and have never had a miss! And not to mention the service from the owners is always a highlight of the experience as well. I always direct people here when they’re looking for great sushi!

The food was absolutely delicious! The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. They were so humble and welcoming to us. And guess what? There are a ton of great vegetarian options available. If you’re a vegan or vegetarian looking to try some authentic Japanese food, I highly recommend this place. You won’t be disappointed! Come visit us sometime!

This plate was about $60 after tax. The whole experience was very overwhelming.
We went for a combo order for 37 pcs, and the owner has such a thick accent it was hard to even communicate. When we proceeded to select our rolls, she would suggest lower priced rolls to offset some basic rolls such as the rainbow roll (salmon and avocado).
She forced crispy rolls on us as well.
After ordering, once we received the order, you can see by the picture how little fish was put into it. There was more crisp than fish as well. For such a large platter and cost, the rolls shouldn’t be so small with such an average taste.
This has been the worst sushi experience I’ve had, and I wished this family owned business was a hidden gem coming from Toronto, but it turned out to be the total opposite.

This was some of the BEST food I’ve ever experienced I ate so much i felt like the pot of greed im this guys son the cook kept calling me handsome in conclusion i mean; If I could rate this 6/5 stars i 140% would it is really easy on the eyes with the lights and songs.

Delicious and fresh sushi!! I did an online order for pick up as they aren’t open for dine in. I got the 37 piece party tray and shrimp and sweet potato tempura. Staff were very friendly. It was my first time here but I will definitely be returning to try their other food items! Love to support local 🙂

I was passing KW on my way to Toronto and attended Linhai on a Sunday evening (around 7pm). The place was totally empty (which I did not mind at all). The restaurant was also very clean and the customer service was fantastic. The music choice was, well… an acquired taste but fun (see the video).
I ordered a Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk ($4.95). Very pleasing, but hard to mess that one up. This is where the good ends.
Everything on the menu looked far too overpriced for what it was and for the amount it came in. 2 slices of salmon sashimi for $5? Good Lord! But I made my food order anyway.
I ordered the Avatar Rolls and “Shrimp Fried” Rice + Miso Soup.
Avatar Rolls ($16 for 10 pieces):
– Advertised as having salmon (which I expected to be a proper piece on top of each roll). But it wasn’t. In fact, I had to ask the waitress where the salmon even was. She pointed to a tiny piece of it within the extra crunchy shrimp tempura mess that tasted like OLD oil encapsulated in rice. A sushi roll should never taste like that and leave the aftertaste of old oil in your mouth for 2 hours after.
“Shrimp Fried” Rice ($13):
– This one was just false advertising and NOT Shrimp Fried rice. It was a plate of (beautifully presented) greasy rice (OLD OIL AGAIN!) with some cabbage and a little bit of carrots and sesame seeds… with 4 shrimp laying on top. For $13.
Miso soup ($4):
– Nothing spectacular. The mushrooms in it tasted sort of old (potentially rehydrated?).
Also, the place charges EXTRA for EXTRA ginger and soy sauce? That’s a first one for me.
All in all, a terrible culinary experience for almost !!!$43!!! for one person! Maybe I did not order the items that the place is known for, maybe I got the chef on their off day… Or maybe I am spoiled by the abundance of high-quality sushi places for a good price in Toronto (Sushi Legend, Mi Ne Sushi, Sushi Rock, August 8 (Hamilton) etc.)?
Important to note, a friend of mine attended this place prior to me and had very good things to say about the restaurant. So there is that.
Regardless, as clean as the place was and as lovely as the staff were, the poor food quality is what is remembered most. Based on the previous reviews, I really wanted to like the place, and I’m all for supporting local businesses, but I will certainly not be coming back to this one.
