Everything we ordered was so good! You can pretty much pick anything on the menu and you won’t be disappointed. They have a great mix of authentic Hunan dishes (love the spice!) and some really cool fusion Chinese food. Plus, the plates look so pretty when they come out, you can tell they really care about the details.
The vibe inside is great too. It’s clean and stylish, and they have private rooms which were perfect for our small group dinner. I also heard they do event buyouts if you’re looking to host a party.
Big plus: They just added Beijing Roast Duck and Buddha Jumps Over the Wall to the menu. Those are usually really hard to make, so it’s awesome they have them now.
Definitely check this place out if you want high-quality Chinese food!
The interior is just absolutely stunning. They’re still in the soft opening phase and working out some tweaks but I genuinely enjoyed most of the dishes we got.
Soup dumplings are their specialty but they are a bit on the denser side, which is not what I personally really like, but their traditional wok-fried dishes are where they really shine for me.
Everything was presented so beautifully, they even help mash the eggplant with century egg with a mortar and pestle right at your table. The sizzling beef was smoky, fragrant, and really brought the heat, and I highly recommend the steamed pork with mustard greens that you can make little pork belly baos with.
Portions are super generous here, like the ginormous serve of sauerkraut fish and shrimp fried rice.
Thanks for reading! ^-^
The food and service was amazing. We got pork buns- they were perfect. Moist and flavorful, the texture of the buns was delicious. We also got the orange chicken and honey walnut shrimp. Crispy and super flavorful. The shrimp were huge! We also got a plate of vegetables and mapo. The mapo was our favorite- so rich and wonderful flavor. Can’t wait to go back when it’s officially open!
