New place where hillbilly diner use to be. It’s a new mexican restaruant. It serves breakfast so I tried breakfast quesadilla. Very good but kinda expensive. The place was newly decorated and looked really nice. We need more restaraunts in this area. Look forward to trying their dinner menu.

One person in our group had raw chicken pieces in their ACP. Another had raw bacon and an over cooked hamburger. The waitress took forever getting drinks. Forgot about drinks. Hardly was able to get a refill. Chips are not free. We had people done eating before some even got their food. Food was overpriced and underwhelming. The restrooms were absolutely filthy. Our waitress was really nice and hospitable she just needs more training. Overall not a great experience. Will not go back.

Today, my husband and I decided to try this restaurant for breakfast. The server was new…her 2nd day but she was so nice. However, the remainder of the experience was horrible. In order for me to do a bad review, it has to be awful. They offer a pancake platter which comes with bacon or sausage, potatoes, and eggs. I don’t eat pork, so I asked about adding chicken which I was told would be an additional $9. I declined and said I would do the platter with no meat. I was told it would be the same price. When I inquired as to why, the owner decided to break it down to just pancakes, eggs, and potatoes. I was ok with that. The kitchen didn’t understand but I heard the owner relay what was done in Spanish. I understand Spanish well. When the pancakes came, I asked for butter and syrup which is normal to me. The server went back to the kitchen and they provided her with melted butter…huh? When she placed the potatoes on the table, they were cold…not even room temperature. I told her not to worry about that. I asked for my eggs scrambled with cheese…the eggs were burnt and did not have cheese. I told her that was ok. I started to eat the pancakes and on my third bite, I looked down and there was a piece of hair cooked into the pancake. That was my last straw. I asked to speak with the owner, who was present, and she sent the server back and refused to speak with me. This had to be one of the worst experience in restaurants ever and I am well cultivated. I am not sure if people feel as if they can just throw anything at a person from a small town, but there are cultivated people here who knows the difference in good quality food, and just food. I probably would not have said anything until the owner refused to even address her establishment’s issues. News flash: Your business is based on customers enjoying the experience and returning. So understanding customer services is important. If you can’t deal with a nice unhappy customer who simply wants to discuss the issues with the meal presented from your kitchen, how will you handle a belligerent one? I want to see my community grow and love the idea of new restaurants and other businesses. However, please understand that there are people here that value quality and know when that is not presented. Be prepared to listen, do better, and move forward. Thanks

They have done a good job redecorating. The server was slow and not very knowledgeable. Was told they didn’t have chips because they were out of the shell things (her words) to make them. Not sure why they couldn’t go over to the dollar store and buy some tortillas to make that. I asked if I could have salsa with my quesadilla she said since they didn’t have chips they didn’t bother to make salsa. She also kept forgetting to bring things we asked for. Once we hollered at her politely to ask for something and she rolled her eyes as she turned around.
There was plenty of food and it did taste good but nothing special. It was cold by time we got it. I thought it was a little pricey but what isn’t these days. Mom husband and I got the special for 10.99 original 16.99, steak quesadilla with beans rice and some lettuce with few pieces of tomatoes, he may have had a tablespoon of beans on his plate so I gave him some of mine. That was lunch time on Sunday. And only ppl at 2 other tables. Maybe the evening is better I won’t be going back to find out. I hope they improve so they can be successful.

We didn’t even order our food before we decided to leave this establishment. The waitress was very rude and snarky. Every question we asked our waitress she had not a clue. Left 5$ on the table for the flat coke they brought to the table but no one had drank. They proceeded to follow us out of the restaurant saying we needed to pay for the drink. Terrible attitudes and unorganized. I do not recommend dining in here.

This place seems more of a seafood boil place. Don’t expect a ton of Mexican food options here.

Pros:
Very kind wattress
Fresh chips
Crunchy waffle chips
Nice owner
Mexican cheese steak torta was ok.

Cons:
Loud, annoying music. My husband and I could not hear each other across from each other.
Kinda pricey for the area. 16.99 for a cheesesteak sandwich with waffle fries. Papa’s Pizzeria down the road has a better one for under $12.
Queso needs heat. It was creamy, but I wish there was heat. Maybe if they offered a spicy one in addition to the tame one.
Texacano fajitas only had 3 shrimp.

The food is phenomenal, absolutely one of my top picks to eat at now. Not only is the food good but it is also priced well too. The breakfast and lunch options are both amazing and good for even picky eaters. Definitely recommend everybody go here and eat
