Well nothing but positives here folks! We drove about 25 miles to try this little diner out and it was worth every mile. Previous great reviews are right on target!!!
My husband had bacon cheeseburger I had cheeseburger we shared the onion rings. Hubby says tea is the best he’s had since we’ve lived here…except for mine of course
We got pie to go I’ll let you know. I’m kinda known for the quality of my own homemade pies so I’ll be a decent judge. Highly recommend you give this little diner a try…it’s worth the drive!
Pie was delicious with my afternoon tea❣️

Such a neat little find by the lake.
I got the all you can catfish with fried Okra and Tater Tots plus chocolate cream pie for dessert.
The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because the pie had barely any chocolate inside. The layer was probably less than a 1/4 inch thick whereas the whip cream was 2-3 inches thick, the crust was probably one of the better crusts I have gotten on a pie though.
The catfish came with three large crispy pieces with tarter sauce that were well seasoned. The okra seemed homemade and the tots were crispy, both sides could have used a bit more seasoning.
I was thinking the tarter sauce with some Payne Country Rust Spicy Habanero pickles in there could kick up the tarter sauce and give another option, but have no complaints about the one they serve.
The atmosphere was quite nice and the staff was super pleasant and attentive.
It certainly seems like a local hidden gem. My husband got a bacon cheeseburger with fries and a huge slice of German Chocolate Cake. He enjoyed both quite a lot.
Oh, and excellent sweet tea!

My husband and I decided to take a drive to the other side of the lake to try something new for dinner. I had the chicken fried steak and he had the chicken bacon ranch wrap. Everything was very good.
She makes her desserts homemade and you talk about A SELECTION TO CHOOSE FROM!!! We ended up bringing 5 different desserts home. We haven’t tried anything except my husband did take a bite of the pecan pie. He said it’s really good!!!

We came on a Friday (11/10) and ordered the special of the day (catfish!). 2 specials, 1 slice of pecan pie, a water and sweet tea came out to under $36. Food was delicious
Every table had brain games too

Just driving down the road saw this little cafe. So we decided to give it a try. Glad we did. Great burgers and rings. The apple and chocolate cream pie are both great.

First time eating here everyone said we have try it. We were there for the fall foliage tour. The food was great, glad we stopped in. I had the burger meal, it was spot on.

Made a day trip from the Tulsa area to the robbers cave area today. After our hike we drove all the way out to try this little diner and we weren’t disappointed!! The ladies working were so nice and the burgers and cake was great. Even got to enjoy it with a lake side view just across the street

Just ordered 2 steak sandwiches to go, absolutely awful. Dry, tough, zero flavor. Tater tot’s were hard, no flavor. Curly fries where excellent. My wife said her green beans had no flavor either. We didn’t finish it. This is coming from someone who’s never left a bad review anywhere.

Terrible. Service was awful. Waitress had an apron full of straws but didn’t leave any with the drinks. Asked if I wanted ranch with the fried pickles then never brought it. They were so bland that they should ranch would have just made them edible. Ordered various burgers for our table and that’s all you get is the burger. No fries included, not even a bag of chips. We actual had to go somewhere else after we left to get something to eat. 4 burgers and fried pickles $54.00. At least I didn’t have to leave a tip.
