It was my first time eating there. It was Halloween and the staff were dressed up as Scarecrows. They were hilarious. They treated me like an old friend and made me feel so welcome. I will definitely be going back. The food was excellent with large portions. Worth every penny. Such a friendly atmosphere.

My Husband & I stopped in for a late brunch, but alas, they don’t do breakfast all day. So we both had a sandwich, he had a BLT & I enjoyed their chicken salad sandwich. It wasn’t fancy, it had no grapes, nuts or roots. But by golly that was some of the best tasting chicken salad I’ve had in a real long while! We ordered a few desserts to go. My Husband got a slice of their apple crumble crisp, I got a slice of banana & walnut w/cream cheese frosting, & I took a slice of Death by chocolate home for our Daughter. Those were so delicious & you can tell they were homemade!! We’re planning on going this Saturday for breakfast, but they’re closed. So we’ll be heading that way on Monday morn!!

Many of my visits to Linda Lou’s are at lunchtime, though I occasionally eat breakfast there. I dine with their crew an average of once per week. The staff is friendly, and know many of the regular diners by name.
Linda Lou’s offers a broad selection of items and features 3 Daily Specials. My personal favorites are the Lasagna Dinner and Sloppy Joes. The pricing seems reasonable to me for homestyle-cooked food, and their portions leave me satisfied with no room for the many pies offered for dessert.
The restrooms are clean, bright and well-kept.
I recommend you checking them out if you are looking to let someone else do the cooking for Breakfast or Lunch or passing through Franklin!
