Wanted to visit this restaurant for over a year now and finally made it. I had wanted to try the Cajun food which did not disappoint. Met the owner too who is a very nice guy. Prices of food was reasonable.

We had a blast in this bar when we were visiting Denver. Awesome blues band and atmosphere on Friday night. Our waitress was sweet but I think she was overwhelmed attending all the tables, and she forgot our food. We waited for more than an hour. At least was a good wait thanks to the music and the fact that we weren’t super hungry. The Gumbo soup was tasty, but the salad was whatever. Even though we had a great time with the music and the happy crowd dancing, super good vibes, we will come back for that.

Fantastic food and service here. The best Cajun food I’ve had since moving to Colorado in 2015. The hush puppies were fantastic, bread for the po’ boys is from a local baker, excellent gumbo, and the blackened catfish, fried catfish, and fried shrimp were all delicious. Will definitely be back for this local gem!

I love this place. It’s a treasure in Denver. None of the pretentious BS that is everywhere. The live bands are always excellent and the crowd is always welcoming. Besides they have gumbo.

Sorry to say but I finally showed up at Jon Steidemans open mic after 18 years hosting wednesday nights at The Roadhouse. I cant believe it took me so long this place is wonderful great service + delishus cajun menu with all the fixins. I hope they keep the tradition going now that Jonb is stepping away. I’ll be back often for lunch and dinners either way. Looks like they got lots of great live music on the marquee!
