“Speakeasies” were nicknamed for how low you had to speak the “password” to gain entry so as not to be overheard by law enforcement. You don’t need to know a password to get into this speakeasy and gangsters aren’t running this bar. The Lincoln Speakeasy gives you a glimpse into the past with a contemporary twist. First time, not great. Food is extremely expensive and my Philly cheese steak was tiny for $20. Upgraded tots too loaded tots, friend ordered loaded tots, mine were NOT loaded after paying an additional cost.
Service to the tables seemed like it was pick and choose as i saw some being served with great hospitality at their table while our table was given no attention.
Place definitely is not one of those that you say ‘I’m coming back’!. Not somewhere I would go back to let alone bring a group of friends.

This is a cute addition to downtown Lincoln. We went on a Saturday night and it was about half full. They had the baseball game on TV and live music from a local artist. The gals were the bar were attentive to everybody and brought our drinks and food in a reasonable amount of time. We ordered 6 appetizers and all were great, the table favorite was definitely the cauliflower bites! We ordered a few different drinks, all came in cute glasses and tasted great. I love that they have board and card games. It was a nice experience and we’ll definitely be back

Dropped in with the gang to celebrate the nephew’s 21st birthday. An excellent time was had by all. Fun atmosphere, not too loud to hear one another talk, friendly staff, fun drinks priced just right. We’ll definitely be back for food next time too, the Ocktoberfest menu looks tasty.

The bartenders were amazingly polite. Restrooms were so cute & clean. It’s a must!

Great local hangout spot! Love the decor and the great mixed drink menu. They also have great pub food that extends pretty late into the night. Easily the coolest bar/pub in Lincoln.

Best burger (thick, flavorful with a fresh bun) and fries (nice and crispy, ask for garlic aioli dip on the side) we’ve had since we moved to Lincoln! I enjoyed the red ale, and my husband was happy they had his “Colorado Koolaid” Coors Light on tap. The bartender Gina D. was super friendly and helpful too. Fun spot. We’ll be back.

I love this little place! I’ve been coming here since they opened and seeing them grow from wine based cocktails, to a full bar and expanded food menu has been awesome. The owners are kind, and truly care about the experience and their guests/staff.

We ordered drinks & fries while there was only 2 other parties. Our fries came, and we sat for 40 MINUTES to see if they would bring drinks.
I’M NOT KIDDING.
NONE of the 4 servers gave us eye contact or ASKED if we needed anything.
40 minutes have passed and we’re just waiting for someone to give us a check.
THEY ONLY SERVE REGULARS.
