The burgers are great, but I really enjoy the grilled sandwiches. The steel worker was fantastic. Pricing was exactly what I would expect. People behind the counter were super friendly the few times I’ve been in, and are more than happy to explain the history of the business when I asked. Seating is a little tight, but the name literally states carry out. Phenomenal little local gem.

This was our second time and it wasn’t too bad. My wife’s grilled cheese was very delicious and the coleslaw was great as are the deviled eggs. My fish sandwich wasn’t bad but I’m not a big fan of fish patties because it reminds me too much of van camp frozen fish products but it was still good. We will still return to try other menu items.

Great sandwiches served on perfectly crisp, toasty bread. Each bite is a well-balanced mix of generous portions of meat and flavorful condiments, delivering a rich, satisfying taste. One thing is it may be slightly buttery/greasy due to making the bread crispy.
They offer a wide range of sandwich combinations to suit every palate, this local business elevates the classic homemade sandwich experience. While prices hover in the mid-range, the quality and craftsmanship make every sandwich well worth it.

Okay…first time trying this restaurant and I’m thoroughly disappointed…I basically paid $10 for a “mustard” sandwich….I seriously cannot fathom why you’d put that much mustard on a sandwich. I ordered a corn beef & pastrami mixed sub. The meat was extremely skimpy and you warmed it w/o asking me….I was still going to give you the benefit of doubt until I got to the mustard. So much mustard I thought I was eating cheese for a minute. I basically choked through a flavorless,
skimpy, mustard sandwich. And to top it all off I’m still hungry… Thanks….for nothing

Haven’t been here in a while, I stopped in today. Boy what a let down! I got an Italian sub and I couldn’t believe how little meat was on it! It was like eating a salad sandwich. $27 for two sandwiches. I will not be back. Can’t wait for Jersey Mike’s to open!

This was my first time trying this place and I see why they have so many great reviews! I tried the pastrami and corned beef sub which was absolutely delicious. The size was pretty good too for the price. This place will definitely be in the mix!

Haven’t been the Lincoln’s since they closed Highands down. Found this by accident on the net.

Owner was nice! Food was basically the same as the orignal Calumet City (the orginal owners) and the closed Highland one (were the orginal owners running that now retired). This is not one of the orignal owners but same setup. Parking is very limted.

No issues. We had 2 sandwiches, one fry and two cans of pop $22. Food was hot and fresh. Is anything cheap nowadays ?

Fyi people if you order from the drive threws or to go order always check your food while thier. Takes 2 minutes ! Stop blaming businesses cause your in a dang hurry.Thats why I always order inside. Save yourself time and aggravation. No one is perfect. See that with every place and drive threws or to go orders.

Off i65 and 3 miles east of Ridge Road on Old Ridge Road which runs along side Ridge. Old Ridge Road ends into Lincoln St and that is where they are. If not from the area and need to burn off the food try Lake George minutes away. Lots of parking and free.

Also one in Crown Point been hearing by Jewel.

No comparison to the older Lincoln’s in Calumet City and Highland restaurants that are no longer operating. The soup tasted horrible, sandwiches were skimpy and pretty expensive. will never go back.

Their sandwiches are always a hit and they do not skimp on the meat. We also love ordering the delicious sandwich platters for family parties!
