Great local mom and pop place to eat. The waitress was very attentive. The food was enjoyed by everyone. The hashbrowns were a bit on the crunchy side, but that is the way I like them.

Stopped in for lunch (1-2pm) on Thursday with my folks. We were very pleased with the service, cleanliness and atmosphere! They serve Pepsi products, that’s a plus with us. The menu choices are EXCELLENT! My mom is doing KETO and was very pleased with her options! She ordered the house chicken, grilled breasts, with peppers, onions and melted cheese. She also had her choice of two sides. It was no problem when she asked for two lettuce salads as her sides. Our server even combined them into one bowl instead of serving in separate bowls and made sure to give her plenty salad dressing.
My dad and I both had the four piece broasted chicken dark meat with two sides. Salad for both of us too. Dad’s salad was fine, unfortunately mine had the texture of a salad leftover from the night before. It was edible and I didn’t complain because there are people starving all over the world. Dad ordered fries, they are crinkle cut and I thought they were ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. Dad likes his fries really done and crunchy, almost burnt, but he still ate most of his fries. I ordered hash browns and was not disappointed! Shredded, moist and slightly crunchy pieces! YUM I love when they are cooked on a well used, seasoned surface! We all brought leftovers home.
The prices are very reasonable, they also had daily specials written on a board that looked appealing! There’s also a cooler with shelves of what looks like homemade pies! If I had been able to finish my chicken I would have had a hard time trying to decide on which pie to have!
We will go back if we are in the area again. We might even make a special trip if they still have the fish special during lent next year.

Anytime I am in Belle Plaine. I come here for great tasting food. They never disappoint, it is your classic Midwest diner and the breakfast skillets are gluten free and amazing. Nothing is marked gluten free but deductive reasoning can’t help you navigate this classic diner menu.

This place is a total gem. If youre in town and need a bite, its THE place to go. I ordered takeout and it was delicious even after getting it home. The broasted chicken was out of control, and so was my grilled chicken with onion, mushroom and swiss cheese. I asked the girl working for her recommendations on entrees and pie and she did so well- we are full and happy! I believe her name was Kristy. She was so sweet and patient, also gave me updates on the timeline of my food. We will definitely be back again next time were in town. Do yourself a favor and get the chocolate pie! My only complaint is that the combo appetizer did not come with ranch, but i did not specify i wanted any so they stil deserve 5 stars.

The place was packed in a Sunday morning after golf, but we got seated and had a great breakfast. The service was fast and friendly. The food was quality, but they charge for crispy hashbrowns….. that’s weird isn’t it??

Good variety of food. Had the all-you-can-eat chicken tenders special. Fresh made and juicy! Ice cream for dessert was really good! Visited for lunch before walking the nearby sunflower field. Was a good choice.

My husband ordered a skillet and devoured every bit of it!! It was so so good! I got the regular 2 egg breakfast with hashbrowns, bacon, and sausage. Everything was so delicious! Our server was very attentive and kind. Great price as well!!
