I truly don’t understand how Lina’s isn’t rated 5 stars! Every single person there is so kind and welcoming. The store is always clean, the shelves are neatly stocked, and the food is absolutely amazing, hands down some of the best Filipino food around.
Small businesses thrive on community support, and this one absolutely deserves it. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out!

One of my fave Filipino stores to go to. They offer a variety of cooked hot food. I have my share of favorite dishes such as chicken adobo, arroz caldo, and most of the desserts are really good. Bilo2x being my top favorite.

Cute little Filipino grocery with a turo-turo style restaurant and catering business in NW Chicago suburb of Bloomingdale. Tried the Pancit Palabok (or is it Malabon) and Pancit Guisado. Both prepared/packaged but with spot-on flavors. Decent price for the serving. They need to replenish their inventory if you want to do some grocery. But they have enough tasty, prepared home cooked style Filipino fare to satisfy your cravings.

People always asking me, what type of food do I like to eat. In 60108 my must to get, bangus in Linas market. Better then any restaurant in the area.

Had severe diarrhea after eating here.
Also , mind you the lady that checks you out for your food. She will add charges on top of your food without you knowing.
I witnessed that yesterday. One guy ordered and on his receipt said Fried Rice. He never ordered fried rice. The guy complained which he should ,but the owner was like it just fried rice small money.

Okay, I have consistently enjoyed the quality of the food at this establishment. However, I have experienced recurring issues with order accuracy. Specifically, the sinangag option for silog meals has frequently been unavailable during my visits. Additionally, there have been instances where my orders have been incorrect. On a separate note, I’ve often observed a particular older female staff member who appears disengaged and less than enthusiastic about their work, which contributes to a somewhat unwelcoming atmosphere. While I appreciate the food itself, these repeated inaccuracies and the perceived lack of attentiveness are disappointing and impact the overall experience.

Lina’s Filipino Marketplace have a small convenience store and a homemade meals. They also sell baked goods. You should try their (sweet) breads, it’s so good. I have not tried their meals yet maybe next time.

We bought whole mocha cake on 12/12/24. So excited about it. Very disappointed! It was frozen cake, the cake itself tasted old, you can tell the icing was old, overall bad taste, even saw a couple of black spots (look like mold)- mocha cake shouldn’t have back spot! For the price $40 +Tax , was over priced for an old bad tasting cake! Worst cake ever tasted! Would not recommend to anyone!
