This little restaurant is a cheap way to fill up quickly. We stopped in for the $11 buffet, and small batches were available with a variety of choices. My favorite was the coconut chicken!!

We were not impressed. The crab Rangoon is over cooked and runny inside. The chicken and cashews would have been okay if it wasn’t all celery. The picture I took is after I picked out all of the chicken and cashews and was left with like more than 2 cups of celery. That is gross. They need to cut that down to like 1 stalk maybe. Then the lo mein is just terrible. It was loaded down with mushrooms and we put in the instructions that we didn’t want mushrooms in it. It was way too many to pick out and had to be thrown out. What a waste of $30. There is better Chinese over in Peru.

Had an issue with a takeout order and they took care of it very promptly and politely. Food was hot, fresh and quite tasty. Lin Gardens is my new go to for Chinese food in Ottawa.

I love this place. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I placed an order online and it was not correct when delivered but when I called, they were very helpful and gave me a replacement. This is the only place I recommend for Chinese in town. Great food.

I just had my order delivered that was almost $60 for Large Pork rice, small beef fried rice. 4 eggs rolls, 1 order of fried pot stickers and general sols chicken ( I know that’s spelled incorrect) lol. I never leave reviews on orders even if they are bad. However, the disappointment with this order is past terrible.
Small beef fried rice, literally had 2 pieces of beef.
Eggrolls 4 of them, they were really mushy inside and tasted fishy. Terrible terrible
Fried Pot sticker were soggy but would have been great if they were mad how ordered fried.
Large pork fried rice no complaints it was decent. General so chicken was good.
Duck sauce is not sweet and sour sauce I requested sweet n sour sauce and didn’t get it.
All in all very verry disappointed in the food that was very expensive. If I am paying that amount of money I expect atleast good food.
I’m sorry for the review but this was just all in all bad.
Oooo but delivery was fast

This is a nice out of the way restaurant to check out. Unlike the big buffets, this one is small and quaint with a small dining area and a reasonable sized buffet. The food was all fresh, tender, and made in small batches. We enjoyed our meal and got filled up for a very reasonable cost. Only 4 stars because, in my opinion, some of the flavors were not on point compared to other buffets. However, I would eat here again if I’m in the area.

I use to love coming to Lin Garden for their buffet. They have gone through several owners in the past few years, and I think it is time for them to shut their doors. I came to the buffet 6 months ago to give the new owners another chance, and I really thought the coconut shrimp on the buffet, was very good. Fast forward, to yesterday, since Dragon city where I usually order from, and that has very good good, was closed. So I was really in the mood for Chinese food, and I thought I would order the Coconut Shrimp that I enjoyed at the buffet several months ago. I picked up my food, and brought it home. I opened up the container, and much to my surprise, I saw these huge looking shrimp, that looked nothing like the coconut shrimp that I had eaten at the buffet several months ago. I bit into one, and it was just a huge clump of batter with some dry shrimp in the middle of it. I couldn’t eat it, and had to throw it out. I also had the pork fried rice, and thought, how can you mess up fried rice? They found a way to mess it up. Dry as hell! I will have to wait for new owners, before I give it another chance.
