This was a nice stop during my morning! It has a nice look on the outside and I’ve been wanting to try it out for a while! I went this recent Friday Morning and walked inside to order. There were two other people in the cafe along with the staff so I got my order taken immediately. Unfortunately I can’t say I was blown away by the service, though it was quick, it was kind of awkward because the staff was not smiling or anything. I got my food and drink. I ordered a scone and a mocha. The mocha was good not over priced and yummy not too sweet for a mocha. The scone was good but it was pretty cold. It was yummy and everything but ya. I’d recommend stopping by and supporting our local business!

Definitely found my new favorite coffee spot. Amazing brown sugar shaken espresso (something I’ve been craving since boycotting Starbucks, and this one is FAR superior ), they have a drive through which is SO nice, and the woman who served me was very kind and quick. So happy to have a new local coffee place close to home I can frequent!!

Quiet cafe nestled in New Brighton. An unexpected detour and found this gem. Purchased a plain iced americano. Wow. Another great family-owned and ran Ethiopian cafe where they roast their own beans. Cool jazz playing and calm vibes.

My review is strictly for the coffee. It’s smooth, rich and delicious. I bought a bag of beans. The atomosphere is nice, the patrons were friendly but I didn’t want to hang out there. This location has a drive thru. None of the pastries are made in house so I did not try them.

Tasty coffee! I had a small black americano. Surprised me how delicious it was, as I’ve had a slew of poor coffees lately. Yum! I had a pre employment appointment that day that took a significant amount of time and mental fortitude, so I felt equipped for my day. I got my coffee after a good walk, on a brisk start to a sunny day, and all felt right in the world. Kind worker. 🙂

Gedam is great! She was kind, patient, and made small talk with me while I waited for my drink, which helped pass the time. I had only stopped in to wait for my mom at the DMV, but the atmosphere was so inviting and cozy that I ended up really enjoying the experience. You can tell Gedam has years of experience—her calm and friendly presence made a big difference.

a vibrant little coffee shop with a well-curated, tight range of options and original blends. this is a gem of authenticity, affordability, and African taste!

note there are only two mid-sized seating areas in the lobby, but they do have a convenient drive through! they also sell their original coffee blends in-house if thays your thing. I’ve tried a bag – it needs grinding, and it’s worth it! great quality and powerful flavor.

An absolutely lovely coffee shop.
Clean and pleasant with soft jazz playing, I tried the baklava, which was excellent. Flaky and flavorful, but not too sweet.
There is a true entrepreneurial spirit to the owner and the story of the shop that motivates you to cheer for the place.
I noticed a book by a local New Brighton author on a side table for sale as well, and I loved to see the support for the local community.

Great (iced or hot) Mochas and cheese danishes!
Update: BEST iced mocha I’ve ever had. It’s a coffee and pastry kind of place.

Stopped by on a long bike ride for a pick-me-up. Ordered double shot espresso and baklava. The espresso was very good and so was the pastry (though very rich — consider sharing). The barista was super friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed and cozy. Everything was very reasonably priced. Will definitely make this a regular stop on our rides.
