We had such a great experience at Lim’s Fine Thai & Sushi Restaurant! The fried shrimp shumai was delicious—light, crispy, and full of flavor. We also tried the spicy tuna and crispy shrimp rolls, and both were excellent. You can really taste the freshness and attention to detail in every bite. One of the highlights was watching the chefs at work; they’re true perfectionists in how they prepare the fish and rolls. Everything felt so carefully crafted. Highly recommend for anyone looking for high-quality sushi and Thai dishes in a welcoming spot!

Knowing how much we love Japanese cuisine, and especially how talented my wife is at making delicious sushi, our dive buddy invited us to Lim’s Fine Thai & Sushi Restaurant located in Rhode Island. Honestly, I was a bit skeptical at first, cause who could possibly match (or even come close to) the taste of my wife’s mouthwatering sushi? (Gotta stay politically correct here ).
But I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised from the very first bite. The chef, clearly a master of his craft, presented a dish that not only looked stunning, but also delivered layers of rich, well-balanced flavor. Every piece of fish was expertly chosen and so fresh, that it practically melted in our mouths. My wife’s favorite was the white tuna, and I have to agree with her, it was absolutely out of this world. We also ordered a dish with eel, and the chef managed to transform the complex flavors of lightly seared fish and tobiko, into a true symphony of taste. And the beer lovers would appreciate delicious Sapporo, served as it should … icy cold. The best sign of how much we enjoyed the evening, is already made plans to come back.
And thank you, Matt, for introducing to us yet another phenomenal restaurant.

The restaurant is really beautiful inside and the staff are really accommodating. I was able to call and make a reservation the same day for Saturday evening.
The sushi rolls are fresh and one of the rolls had great flavors with cilantro incorporated in it. The Pad Thai with shrimp is probably the best I’ve had in New England. It had a good amount of protein with strong flavor absorbed in the noodles. The Khao Soi was a special and the curry was amazing. The egg noodles had great flavors with the curry and fried noodles provided a satisfying crunch. I look forward to coming back whenever I’m in Providence.

The sushi was fantastic!!! The sushi tastes as good as it looks. The hurricane and tornado were fantastic. The sashimi was delicious especially the white tuna. The next time I go I want to try the duck.

This place had an amazing atmosphere with great hospitality and fantastic food. Started off with their Caribbean Cocktail and Grapefruit Soju. A tier mixed drinks. Then appetizer was fried Gyoza that were crispy and delicious. Then got the best Chicken Pad Thai I have ever had in the states. After that we tried their Volcano Sushi which had shrimp, crab, and scallops plus jalapeño, I’m not a sushi person but these were pretty awesome. The hit of fresh jalapeño made it stand out. To end the meal I have their crispy basil duck that was tender and juicy with a side of sweet coconut rice. 10 out of 10. Will definitely be coming back.

Me and my father go all the time. Once we ate here, we haven’t gone or thought about anywhere else. Everyone is friendly and very kind. People are attentive. The place is very clean and welcoming. Plenty of space for any sized party and a lovely sushi bar! The food has never disappointed; always hits the spot. The quality is truly here. We love the sushi and the tuna belly sushi is our favorite. Plenty of options on the menu and everything we’ve been trying has been very tasteful!

A great experience having a quick late lunch here! It was so nice to pop in and even though it was in between lunch and dinner (4pm) the service and everything was perfect. I had the 1/2 order of crispy shrimp roll (wish every place would offer 1/2 orders!!) hot sake, and crab Rangoons. Their hot chili oil is soo good and spicier than any other I’ve had lately. I had to mix it in with the duck sauce for my Rangoons. Everything was really yummy, and the atmosphere is very comfortable and pretty! Thanks, I’ll be back!!
