They just opened a few days ago and I loved it!! The food was amazing and so was the service. Very kind people. The restaurant is BYOB, so make sure to pack what you wish to drink that is an alcoholic beverage! I recommend setting up a reservation since they are new, and the food is so good it’ll have you coming back for more. The proportions for the main dish were amazing, it comes in a cute bowl with the right amount of food you can finish. Not too much and not too little. It was perfect. They had a few deserts as well, and my boyfriend loved the cheesecake! My boyfriend got the Gnocchi with the hazelnuts which he said gave a fine distinct taste which he loved. Will be coming again!

Stopped here randomly about a month ago. I will agree with some of the other posts. The place is a bit tight which makes it loud and it is also a bit pricey. Those things were not super horrible though to where it destroyed the experience. Sometimes in South Jersey people expect restaurants to be library quiet and the size of one also. Our issues were about the food only. Soda was flat (it happens), they were out of an appetizer, the sides were pretty bland, and the pasta with soft shell crab was mushy. Three of our entrées were delicious though and the portions were good.

I live in Washington Twp and wanted to try the local establishment.BYOB for starters. I made reservations for 6:30 Friday, that was a big mistake. The place was packed. From the beginning when we walked in. I could have used a set earplugs, not being facetious. Once at the table, I couldn’t have a conversation with my wife without raising my voice, so annoying.

It was a great experience even though the staff was thin and one meal wasn’t correct, but fixed asap!

Over priced for under portions. Having to order all at once is not customer friendly. Three slices of bread for the table is not Italian. We basically sat on our neighbors tables laps and shared a napkin on our laps. You shouldn’t leave an Italian restaurant hungry. My wife’s seafood pescatore had two shrimps and 2 claims and not enough pasta to even have a mix bite of both. If you don’t have a belly ache and food left on the plate it isn’t Washington Township Italian. Nothing worse than spending $100 dollars on a meal with cheap portions. Full blog post on local Italian cuisine coming soon

We randomly looked up a restaurant to eat and it landed us here. Wow. We were NOT disappointed. I think our server must have had an interest in the place because he was fantastic. We brought our 4 month old and they were extremely accommodating. The food was EXCELLENT! You could tell the server(possibly an owner) took great pride in his restaurant/customer service. We will definitely return. Don’t let the fact this place is in a plaza fool you. Don’t miss out!! Highly recommend!

Delightful experience, for being very new to the area, our waiter was an expert. Very kind, thorough in explaining specials, patient with follow-up questions of the menu, and efficient. The food was lovely, very well portioned, and the pasta was why we came because they make it themselves, and it is absolutely divine. Everything was perfectly cooked and paired well with everything included in each dish, and as described in the menu. Will definitely be returning to this one

The family had a wonderful meal, and the service was great. My only ding to our dining experience was carry over noise, putting me into college dining hall atmosphere.

The restaurant is extremely loud. There were only two of us at the table and we almost had to shout to be heard. It was busy but not packed. Not sure we’d go back, given that there are so many other Italian restaurants in the area to chose from. The service was good. The food was pretty good, but not great, given the prices. The website made it a point to mention house made limoncello… we weren’t offered any and didn’t see any on the menu to order. That was another disappointment.

I don’t get the hype. Food was good but not great. $13 for a pile of arugula and hardly any of the rest of the ingredients promised? I was looking forward to trying the Smoked Mozzarella appetizer and tasting the homemade Limoncello but neither were offered. Pasta with meat sauce came out cold and waiter did not offer grated cheese. He brought the bill without asking us about coffee or dessert. Flies everywhere and too loud to hear each other talk. I miss the old Pelican Restaurant. Will not be back.
