From the moment we were greeted by the exceptional server and seated in a comfortable booth, it was clear this place was different. The service was impeccable, with our waiter expertly handling our drink orders – the Modelo was served ice-cold and pure. The chips were light and crispy, paired with a salsa that was bold and fresh, setting the stage for the culinary journey ahead. The loaded pico with corn and black beans was a standout, and the sirloin strips served on a sizzling cast iron with homemade verde were simply divine.
The Chorizo Torta was the star of the evening – an absolutely breathtaking dish that left me craving more. To top it off, a surprise shot of Patron arrived as a birthday treat, solidifying this restaurant’s place in my memory. The aesthetics of the place only added to the experience. Outstanding food and definitely the best service we’ve ever had in Louisville. The staff makes you feel like family and because of this we will continue to make Limon y Sal our go-to night out spot! Great for a night out as a date night as well as a prime location for a family night dinner. They celebrate birthdays and always have great decorations. Highly recommend! Eduardo is also TOP NOTCH! They are so lucky to have so many people working here that take customer service seriously. You won’t be disappointed trying out this local spot!

I was part of a large group on which none of had been here before. We all will return. Food was delicious, hot, fresh & all priced fair. Service was great & courteous. The atmosphere for the restaurant was good, we were sat on the room for large parties a little separated from the other dinners. I have mixed feelings about the separation. I felt isolated but also nice to just be with family only, I know weird thought to have such opposite feelings on the same room.

Friendly service when we walked in, quick seating, the fans weren’t on and it was a nice hot one in June so the restaurant in the back where we sat was a little warm… But the margaritas were great!!! Then the street tacos were on point ( Monday and Tuesday they do taco days so they are only $2.50 each, great deal!! ) !! My buddy got the California steak burrito and he was happy with it… The $11.00 guac appetizer was fresh and real good… Nice spicy salsa comes with the tacos also… We’ll be back for sure

4/5. Great menu options and service. We had the queso fundido appetizer , she had the Margarita flight and the pick 2 combination and I had the Mexican Rice Bowl. We sat outside and they have fans to keep you cool but be careful it can cool your food off faster than you’d like. I enjoyed everything about the place but the inside was a tad hot and the restroom could’ve been cleaner. The food was delicious and so were the drinks. I would definitely return. Our bill was $65 for appetizer , meals and her margarita flight.

I’ve been here 3x, the service and food have been spectacular every time. The service has been friendly every time. We brought our family, and they enjoyed it. The food is super authentic and delicious . I’ve gotten something different every time, and it’s never disappointed. I would highly recommend this place to locals and travelers.

Way too much mole sauce paired over my 4 chicken enchiladas. Server forgot us due to a very large group being served food constantly before we ordered. We sat for 15 minutes no one took our order before we flagged a random server to complain. He took out order instead of our original server.
