The quality of the food is outstanding and the presentation is beautiful. The prices are comparable to other Thai restaurants in Charlottesville. In our opinion, a great restaurant for lunch or dinner. The wait staff is wonderful, some of the nicest and sincere wait staff I’ve ever met. We don’t go incredibly often, but they have memorize our order and already know what we want before we order it. I’d highly recommend. Lime Leaf is the place, Good prices, flavorful food, big portions. Fast service too! Everything is freshly made. Best Thai in Charlottesville.

The food was certainly still nourishing and enjoyable to our well worn bodies. But sadly most of the dishes just didn’t quite bring the degree of flavor we were looking for. The spice was there and really well balanced, and the ingredients were pretty good too (noodles in the Drunken Jae had a nice chewiness), but it just fell slightly flat at the end of the day.

We should have recognized the red flags of a nearly empty restaurant (only 2 tables) during peak dinner time, but we decided to give this place a try. The pad Thai was the worst pad Thai (chicken & veggie) that we have ever had & one plate had a strand of human hair tangled in the chicken. When we alerted the waitperson, she said sorry and walked away. She brought a mango dish out as an apology (more food doesn’t appease someone losing their appetite over an unclean previous course), and then left for another 20 or so minutes. After waiting a painfully long time to get our check, we were shocked to be charged fully for both meals. Also, at this point we were the only table in the restaurant so the wait made no sense. This was not acceptable customer service. Will not go or recommend: bad food (both in taste and cleanliness) & bad service.

Lime Leaf has amazing food which is why my wife wanted to go the for Mother’s Day. Our whole family loves to go there. The service is the best anywhere! Claudia is awesome and treats us like family! She always remembers that I like Catfish and Musseman Curry!

Just fantastic Thai food, as well as Indian curries. The massamun curry is phenomenal, and the spice level is easily adjusted to your preference (medium is not super spicy for those who seek more heat). Great beer, great service, fine atmosphere and fantastic food.

Very cute place. Service very fast and professional. Relatively big menu for a Thai restaurant. They are also cheaper than some of the Thai places in town. BUT their portion sizes are also smaller and I wouldn’t say their taste is the best in town. So if you are interesting in trying many things on the menu this would be a good option. If you are hoping for ordering one entree and take 1/2 of home this will disappoint you. Given how far out of town this is and that it’s taste isn’t really worth the rating as we see it, I don’t think we will be back here often.

I had the Mussamun Curry and my husband got the Pad Thai. Delicious and wonderful service! Prices were very reasonable. One of the better quality Thai restaurants we have eaten at in the Charlottesville area. We’ll definitely be back.

I don’t know why this restaurant isn’t busier? The food is delicious and affordably priced. Maybe it’s the construction around the shopping center. Great spot for lunch, be sure to get there before 1pm, I think they close between 2-5 pm.
