I recently had the pleasure of dining at this delightful eatery, and I can’t stop raving about the experience! The street corn was bursting with flavor, perfectly grilled and topped with spices. The salsa bar was a dream for salsa lovers, offering a fantastic variety that paired well with the delicious regular tacos.
As a vegetarian, I was thrilled with the portobello mushroom quesadilla; it was divine, with perfectly cooked mushrooms in a rich, savory filling. To top it all off, I was surprised with freshly made churros that were warm, crispy, and utterly delicious!
What made this experience truly exceptional was the service from Mr. E. and Leemay. They were attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the food, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.
I can’t recommend this place highly enough! It’s a hidden gem where fantastic food meets exceptional service, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

We absolutely LOVE coming to Ernest at Lime – Plantation location. Every single time we walk in, we’re greeted with such warmth, but Ernest truly takes it to another level.
Recently, our dog had to have his eye removed, and it’s been such an emotional time for us. The first time we brought him back out after surgery, Ernest immediately brought over a water bowl for him without us even asking. That simple gesture meant more than he probably knows. It showed genuine kindness and care.
No matter what my husband and I are going through, Ernest always treats us like we matter. He’s uplifting, positive, and somehow always knows how to make us smile — even during our hardest moments. He truly is a bright light in this restaurant and makes every visit feel special and enjoyable.
It’s rare to find someone who combines great service with such a big heart. We’re so grateful for him and always look forward to coming back.

I really wish Lime was within walking distance. If so, I’d go there every day. It’s as good as Shaquille O’Neal in 2000 (Shaq has been there btw). The manager there, Tiffany, is someone I’ve known for a while. She’s one of the nicest, most positive people I’ve ever met. If you’re hungry for some great Tex-Mex food, give it a try. Once you go to Lime, you can never see other Tex-Mex places the same again.

Had not been into a Lime in a while and decided to stop in today. Have to say that the staff made it 100% worth our while. Tiffany and Ernest were so full of personality and really made our visit so enjoyable. Tiffany’s recommendations were great and the portions hit the spot.

I wish I could give “Service” more stars… This place is sooooo amazing! Our visits are always made better by Ernest and Tiffany. I always come with my family and we are always treated better than we expect… Way above and beyond. I can’t recommend this place enough! I love it! This was the best costumer service I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Including luxury dining. Multiple members of the staff were so friendly, helpful, kind and all around in such good spirits. I originally was going to go to the Italian place accross the way but the wait was 45 mins so my mom and I went here instead. And I’m so happy it ended up that way! Also there is a Fro-yo and Chocolate place right next door so it’s basically a perfect combo! Would absolutely return here when ever I’m in the area. (I live in NYC)

I had not eaten here in several years, but I definitely will be going back. They changed up their menu since the last time I was there. The fajitas were great! The service was absolutely amazing. Ernest was great. He brought us out a new hot sauce to try and it was delicious. He was very welcoming to everyone walking in and kept coming outside making sure everyone had enough napkins or needed anything else. It’s great to see when people care about making sure patrons have a wonderful experience.

I guess I could say I’m a regular because I eat at this location often, but it’s not just because of the great food. The people who work there are nothing short of delightful! Ernest in particular is the most attentive person, he really gives the place a warm & inviting atmosphere. Greets you as soon as you walk in, remembers you when you come back, offers recommendations for sauces; he’s really just wonderful. I didn’t catch the woman’s name but I believe she is a manager, also amazing; I had ordered the vegan Portobello tacos on a recent visit & they were taking a while, so she came over & brought chips & guac to the table for the inconvenience, & explained the reason it was taking longer than usual was because they had to thoroughly clean the grill to ensure the vegan ingredients didn’t come into contact with any meat. Thought that was really cool that they truly treat each order with so much respect for dietary restrictions, allergies, etc., & care enough to take the time to come over to the table with an appetizer to hold us over for the extra few minutes it took. A lot of places would’ve said or done nothing, or just “sorry for the wait” upon delivering the food. Those tacos were SO delicious, definitely with the wait, & are now my favorite item on the menu. I am pescatarian & have had their fish tacos as well, which are always fresh & delicious; I especially enjoy the fried fish, the crispy batter is so tasty. Love the options they have all around & that they make everything to order, not every quick-service type of restaurant has that, & combined with the super friendly staff that always go above & beyond to make sure you have a pleasant experience, it’ll continue to be my go-to spot for tacos as long as I’m a local!
