This Latin American restaurant has a very homey, welcoming vibe. The dishes are designed as small plates for sharing, which we really enjoyed. The fried broccoli and octopus were highlights—the octopus was cooked well, though the sauce was a little salty. The staff handled it beautifully: they apologized and even comped us a dessert, which we truly appreciated. We mainly ordered tacos and one torta, and everyone enjoyed their meal. Overall, great food and genuinely kind service.

First time here for an early dinner on a snowy Saturday evening. It has a nice vibe, quiet, they were mostly full, but we were able to get a table quickly. They have a nice selection of wines by the glass, a few (very generic) beers, and normal sodas. Seems like a place like this should have craft beers, craft sodas and some decent NA mocktails for the healthy, local vibe. They have a couple of mole dishes, tamales, 5 types of tacos, etc. We opted for the corn hummus starter, a not your classic caesar salad, a “flight” of tacos, and a side of cilantro rice. The hummus was the star, there was nothing caesar about the salad, and the tacos while very generously filled, were not flavorful. Lack of spice or tang, left us underwhelmed. The cilantro rice never came, after we asked about it, we waited a bit more, and then since we were almost done we just told our server to forget it. No major regrets in stopping in to try a new place, but we probably wouldn’t go out of our way to return.

Tucked away in an unexpected location, this restaurant is a true gem. I was immediately impressed by the clean, calm ambiance. The healthy living plants that create a refreshing atmosphere. Happy plants don’t lie! The experience extends to the beautifully presented food, which is packed with complex, infused flavors. To fully appreciate the chef’s uniquely curated dishes, DINNING IN is HIGHLY recommended. Definitely not your traditional Latin dish which creates a fabulous twist.

The service was prompt and attentive from the moment I was seated, with the staff offering excellent guidance. I began with the new addition Charred Cabbage and the Crispy Stuffed Chicken Empanadas. Each dish was elevated by its AMAZING SAUCES ! I wanted to savor every last bit!! The use of fresh cilantro was a consistent and a welcome detail. Definitely doesn’t disappoint the name for this restaurant!

For my main course, I chose the juicy chicken and the thick-cut steak. The FLAVORS in both were PERFECTLY executed. I also sampled the Al Pastor taco, which was highlighted by a fresh pineapple and another EXCEPTIONAL SAUCE. I made sure to save room for dessert, and the horchata ice cream paired with the chocolate tart. Talk about the talent of a Chef and Pastry Chef in one ! GUYS THE FLAVORS DID NOT MISS!

Having learned that this location is relatively new, I am eager to see its what’s next on the menu. Thank you to the entire team—your dedicated efforts are clearly reflected in an outstanding dining experience!!

Came for brunch. The Pupusas Benedict was a hit. Rounded it up with black beans and chips & guac and had a feast. Very nice staff. Maybe the parking was a bit challenging (luckily I got the last spot in front of restaurant), but maybe there is another lot nearby.

Why a great new casual dining experience. The food is delicious and the service is attentive and friendly. The menu is small but has everything you might want. They also have doggy treats!

It’s a comfortable space and we hope this place will be successful.

Here is a update!

After a friend and I were cruising down Georgia Avenue a couple of weeks ago we noticed the bright green sign that immediately caught our eye. We said to ourselves that this place has to be new, since we lived in Montgomery County our whole lives never seeing this sign before any other time. Ironically I ended up meeting a different friend there for an early dinner yesterday and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and experience. Our server was very polite and he took the time to make recommendations for us. The food tastes as good as it looks with great presentation and robust Latin flavors. You can tell the chef and or kitchen staff puts in the work to make sure each item is picture perfect before arriving to your table. I plan on returning with more friends and luckily Lime & Cilantro is only 5 minutes away from where I live. Cheers!!!!

Had such a fantastic meal here. The Charred Cabbage starter was delicious and Mole Short Rib was remarkable. Both were masterclasses in layering textures and flavors. So good!!

Was briefly in town with my lady and a brief Google search was how we got there. Family owned place has great food and service, Kathy was really sweet. We had the short rib and the L&C chicken. For starters we had the cauliflower and the beet salad. Great flavors. The Tres Leches Bread Pudding was amazing and the Chocolate Tort somehow may have been even better. Wishing this place all the best.

Lime and Cilantro is beautiful in every way! We had a family brunch here, and it was absolutely delicious, both the food and the energy! Each dish felt like it couldn’t get any better, yet it kept surpassing our expectations. Chef’s kiss to everything we tried! The Braised Mole Short Rib melts in your mouth, and the avocado toast is perfectly balanced with all the best ingredients. The desserts topped off the meal wonderfully—the cheesecake and bread pudding are amazing! You have to try them!

I can’t wait to come back with the family! Apparently, they have a different brunch menu for the weekend, and I’m excited to try that! The aesthetic is also so calming; it felt like we were on vacation in a completely different place than Silver Spring. Keep rocking it, guys! Thanks for the top-quality food and service!
