I love eating here. The homemade chips & salsa are unique and different and also fantastic. And they do present their margaritas as the world’s best! I don’ t know if it meets this very high standard, but they absolutely are the best Margaritas in Wisconsin!
The menu is a mix of traditional and creative Mexican dishes that are fresh and really yummy. I like their steak quesadillas and their different assortment of tacos. Their crispy onion appetizer I would stay away from but really enjoyed their drunken shrimp!
Especially on Tuesday as that is trivia night. My wife and I were in first place this Tuesday until the final question. You had to rank the periodic table by atomic number for four elements. In second place was an engineer who knew this stuff. I have not looked at this since fifth grade. So we did not wager on the final question, they wagered 15 and won. But we still got second place and a $20 gift card!
I highly recommend a visit.

Such a fun place! My friend and I did a trivia night and it was so relaxing and lovely. Food was great and I LOVE the flight of margaritas. The little cups and skillets were delightful. Highly recommend!

We went for my husband’s birthday. We made a quick reservation with Google and showed up and our table was ready. The food was so good and we all enjoyed everything especially the papas bravas. Our waitress was very nice and even brought out a surprise for my husband. We are definitely coming again and I can’t wait to try something else on the menu.

We love coming to Lime Cantina to relax on the patio with a cocktail and listens to the bands. The patio is open all year and they book some great singers. The food and drinks are superb!! Haven’t had anything I haven’t liked, and typically I’m pretty picky. On our last trip we had the shishito peppers and a smash burger. I typically get the garlic shrimp & Mexican tots. All of it is soo good!! The staff is great too!

Wow! Cedarburg is so lucky! First time here and we loved it. Our waiter was so sweet and attentive, the margaritas were perfect, the homemade chips and salsas were so tasty, and the menu…..!!! It’s a well-crafted balance between atypical contemporary and traditional Mexican appetizers and entrees. A nice departure from the ordinary tortillas/cheese/beans/meats in various configurations. We will definitely be back, and soon!

I’ve been meaning to write a review! We’ve been to Lime Cantina many many times and every time it’s a great experience. We love the live music, they have a nice outside patio out back and when it’s cold they have a heated tent! The steak kabob skewers are delicious. Their chips and salsa are very flavorful. And we always get their margaritas. But you can’t go wrong with anything on their menu! They also take reservations and always accommodate our large group. Which is huge when you have young kids and don’t want to wait long for a table. Great kids menu too!

Me and my mom went here and was overcrowded by the people leaning on our table by the bar. We couldn’t have a normal conversation without yelling it to each other. When our food came it was awful. My mom ordered the chicken enchiladas and I had a small bite of it, it was dry and tasted like windex. My fajitas were bland and rubbery. The beans we ordered tasted awful like it came straight from a can and severed. When we couldn’t stomach more, both of us felt like throwing up. We will not recommend this place nor come back here again.

Sawdust Symphony was playing so we stopped there for dinner. Mexican meatballs and crispy Brussel sprouts were great starters but our dinners were all spot on. We all ordered things you don’t normally find and they were all first rate and so FRESH! Highly recommended.

The bartenders were very friendly but the cook yelled at us for having a fire (that the staff started) and then came out and dumped a 5 gallon bucket of water on the fire without saying a word. We had a group of 12 people that planned on giving them more of our business but we left immediately after. We will not ever return here.

If I could give zero I would, we were having a fire outside which staff had originally started. Cook came out to yell at us trying to state the fire was out of control. There were no embers or excessive fire. We apologized for any inconvenience we had been causing, even though we were not the ones to start the fire. A cook member just came out and dumped an entire bucket of water if the fire, didn’t say anything, and walked back inside. We were completely respectful and were not trying to cause any trouble and the response we got was actually insane. Bartenders and food was good but the reaction we got was super rude and would not go back because of the incident.
