♀️ stopped by this place to grab some lunch while visiting San Angelo for an appointment. I just wanted to grab something to eat before I commuted back home. I opted for their lunch special which is $7.99 . You get a large slice of pizza, some potato slices called nanjos, and a soda. So that sounded like a pretty good deal to me and I wasn’t that hungry anyway. When I ordered and inquired about the special, the cashier seemed bothered and disappointed, stating that the lunch special was almost over and they only had pepperoni pizza if I wanted it . I replied, I was fine with the special. The point of the matter is regardless if it was almost over, the lunch special had not ended yet. So therefore, I wanted it, which is obviously why I inquired about it. He made me feel uncomfortable and cheap for ordering the special as if he wanted me to spend more money. I was just a solo guest stopping by for a small lunch before commuting back home ♀️. If they are not making enough money from selling lunch specials, then they should stop selling the lunch specials at that price ♀️. I decided to dine in doors despite feeling unwelcomed just for ordering the lunch special. The background music played on the wide screen TV was very entertaining because it was mostly old school 80s R&B/popish music by Sheila E and Lisa Lisa, and the cult Jam . They must have been fans of those particular artists because that’s all I really heard on repeat. However, I was absolutely OK with that because that’s my kind of music . I was singing along to all the songs played because I grew up listening to that kind of soulful popish music. The restaurant also featured a mini arcade with old school video games like Pac-Man and Ninja Turtles, basically Atari games. I grew up playing Atari games. I had a few Atari systems as a kid . There were pictures on the walls of a lot of old-school cartoons that I grown up watching. It felt like a play ground to me. I really enjoyed myself then the whole scene. I felt like a big kid. I thought the video games and the pictures on the walls were pretty cool. They even had an old school turn dial telephone inside. I grew up using that type of telephone. I captured videos and pictures of the the many different things that I enjoyed and appreciated seeing in the restaurant while eating.
Overall, I ended up having a decent experience. My pizza portion size was larger than expected. However, the pizza did not taste as appetizing as expected. It was honestly kind of bland. The potato slices were delicious and my drink was refreshing. I can only assume that they get a lot of college student customers since they’re adjacent to the university of San Angelo. He may have assumed that I was a new college student and not someone stopping by from out of town. I was really appalled at his expression and response when I ordered the special. He should have been more professional less emotional. That’ response was bueno. Also, how discouraging his demeanor and communication came across to me. I wish them nothing but the best in their future business endeavors.

We have had 3 family gatherings here, and Lily’s never disappoints! The kids get to play video games and the adults get to catch up, eat and have a great time. I recommend for birthdays and family gatherings, very kid friendly! And food was delightful! Buffulo ranch Nanjos are

OK guys we came in here hungry which is not a good idea as everything looks so delicious. We got pizza, wings, potatoes, mushrooms, and their bacon wrapped hotdog. The owner came out personally and brought our food and asked how everything was. I’m going to say this is the first restaurant I’ve ever been to where everything we ordered was above expectations and phenomenal. If you want to get your fat on or your eat on or just grab an appetizer, this place is amazing. Fashioned a little like the old Shakey’s the potatoes, the pizza, the wings, the mushrooms, and especially the bacon wrapped hotdog were tops in the city of Angelo. Whatever you do, you gotta try this place.

Definitely Angelo’s hidden gem I ordered two of the 16in pies and I was not expecting them to be huge and so delicious 10/10 I love pizza. For a moment I felt like I was back in San Antonio. The vibes and all the young people doing there thangg. I love it. I will be back again.

My family and I tried Lily’s for the first time a few weeks ago( sorry for the late review). We all like it. Very reasonable prices. Pizza was amazing plenty of cheese in every bit from the mozzarella sticks. The only thing is I wish the buffalo wings were a little more spicy. Other than that everything was great. Well definitely be coming back again to try new foods. Staff was amazing. Very polite and respectful. The inside was very clean.

The food here is pretty great. The place was humming with customers. There is plenty of places to sit. We sat in the far side after ordering at the counter. It was super dusty and there was dust on the table and bench. To be fair, It is under construction. Our food came out pretty quickly!
First, we got the famous Nanjos..they were hot and perfectly seasoned and just a basket of yummy goodness. They have a crisp exterior bite and a tender warm interior. Just perfect for dipping in the ketchup or ranch they provide you. We also ordered the mild buffalo wings. They tasted as expected. You get a strong whiff of hot sauce from them. They were kind of on the smaller side but packed big flavor. We got a large pepperoni pizza. The crust is thin and crisp. There was just enough sauce on every piece. It wasn’t super cheesy, but cheesy enough. It was perfectly cooked. The decor in the restaurant is a bit dated but there are video games– arcade style and cartoons playing on the big screens in the back and sport playing in the front. It felt like a good place to hang out with friends. Great service as well!

Ate here for lunch on 1-29-24. Right next to ASU campus. Free parking on site. Construction/remodeling was going on when we visited but didn’t affect our visit. Staff was very friendly…One of the workers gave the 3 year old in our party a coloring book and crayons with which to entertain himself. He used it but loved the vintage cartoons that were on the TVs more. There was plenty of seating- booths and tables. The bathrooms were clean and handicapped accessible. The lunch special of a slice of pizza, fried potato rounds and a drink was very reasonable at $6.50. The “small” cheese pizza was very big for the reasonable price and delicious and there were to go boxes on request. There were arcade games and ride on toys also for entertainment. Glad we stopped in. Would definitely eat here again!

Pizza and nanjo lunch deal is the way to go for a good, fast lunch. It’s a slice of pizza (they have several flavors ready every day at lunch time), nanjo’s and a drink for $7.99. it used to be $5 but everything is more expensive now so still not bad for a good, fast, hot lunch. Pizzas are thin crust which is my fav and the slices are large. Also, they have really good ranch dressing. Oh and if you order whole pizzas they have a cauliflower crust if you are low carb.

This place is going downhill. My last 3 visits have been horrible. The first one there the wait was extremely long and it wasn’t even busy. Whenever the food finally came out the whole bottom of the pizza was burnt and that’s all you could taste. The next time whenever i went in there, there was absolutely nothing to drink but Pepsi zero or water. At that point I didn’t want to eat inside there anymore so the next time i wanted it i was just going to call it in and pick it up. Well whenever i called 2 days in a row, they picked up the phone and placed me on hold for over 10 mins both times, both times i just hung up. That was it for me, i will be taking my business elsewhere. I do not recommend this place at all.
Update: After i posted my honest bad review, the owner is obviously making fake 5 star reviews and replying to them right away. The one under me says it was their first time trying but yet they had multiple great experiences, that makes no sense? What about my REAL bad experiences i had? He didn’t reply to mine to even try to make things better. 0 STARS
