I got 2 asada and 2 adobada tacos and I was disappointed. I had high expectations for this places so I’m rating them hard. The asada wasn’t the best quality and the tortillas were stiff. At $3.5 a taco they’re not cheap and should have higher quantity meats. They were good but definitely not the best in town. Their spiciest salsa was spicy but didn’t have good flavor. The lower 2 salsa were good in flavor.

Some of the best tacos I’ve ever had, and I’ve been all over the world. First time having cachete and cabeza, just as good as lengua if not better I would recommend adding grilled green onion bulbs to the menu, and add a bit more spice/heat to the salsas. Regardless though, this is THE spot to visit if you want authentic tacos!!!

Service is what it is, this is a taco truck sized operation running out of a brick and mortar location. The menu is limited in size but vibrant and plentiful in variety of meats. Lingua? Tripe? Yes please
I especially adore the toppings bar so you can finish dressing your $3.50 tacos however you wish.

I took the scenic route on my way to San Diego to stop at Lilly’s Taqueria! My friend would go on and on about this place and I can see why! Best tacos I’ve had in a while! I had the asada and adobada. The girl that was gonna take our order was busy with a customer on the phone but the two ladies in the kitchen noticed we were ready to order and stepped in to help her out by taking out order and had those tacos out quickly! That shows extreme team effort and professionalism. They have two toppings bar with onion, cilantro, salsa, and more! The spicy salsa is spicy!and that’s coming from a true Mexican. I would definitely take the scenic route again just to have Lilly’s tacos again.

Lilly’s Taqueria is strong with the Force—a destination no street taco enthusiast should ignore. The tacos… impressive. Most impressive. Bursting with flavor, they are as authentic as one could hope to find in this sector. Even my co-worker, a native of Mexico, confirmed their undeniable resemblance to those from his homeland.
When we arrived, the line stretched before us—no fewer than 40 souls awaiting their turn. Yet, the staff, efficient as Imperial officers, maintained swift service, ensuring our wait was brief. The salsa cart, a glorious addition, offered an array of fresh, potent flavors to enhance the experience.
For a mere 40 credits, we secured nine tacos and two drinks—a bargain given their undeniable quality. The experience was… satisfying. I shall return. The Force compels it.
