We were visiting Two Harbors, and this was the only Asian cuisine restaurant in Two Harbors. There is no dine in, take out only. The price is super inflated – averaging $17 per dish. The portion weren’t super large, each dish was in a quart size-ish box. We asked to order Kung Pao chicken not spicy, and they said they could not change the sauce. I’m guessing the sauce is pre-made(?). The beef lo mein was a favorite, the flavor was good but the price was just expensive. We also got the curry chicken and chicken and veggies; the curry chicken didn’t have a lot of chicken, it was mainly veggies and the chicken and veggies was mediocre. If you’re really craving Asian food in the middle of nowhere I’d recommend this, but if not there’s better Asian foods in Duluth less than an hour away.

It’s a small restaurant that has a Buffet during my trip. There was only 1 person working so the service was a little spotty meaning it was hard to get a hold of her because she’s probably cooking to refill the buffet line. They also do take out orders as well. The food was pretty good considering what I just mentioned. There was outdoors seating which I took advantage of. Parking from what I can see is slim pickings unless they have parking out back. I was there traveling via bike. Overall considering everything it’s not a bad place. It’s very subtle good. You’ll have to ask for water which we were provided with bottled water which is not too bad. The plates and utensils were paper plates and plastic forks and spoons. The Pad Thai wasn’t really flavorful but had big shrimps.

Tried a new dish of Chow Fun shrimp. Like all the other dishes at Lilly’s it was flavorful and a generous amount. We definitely will be ordering again. We usually get take out once every two weeks from Lilly’s have never been disappointed.

This was take out only, supposed to order on line, but we didn’t see anything on the Google review that said that. Closes at 7:30 pm. But we drove there, went to the window at 7:10, and we were able to place an order, no issues with that. They texted us after about 20 minutes that the food was done. Pad Thai and Mongolian Beef and Spring Rolls. The food was good, but the servings were huge, so a problem when one is staying in a hotel. There is outdoor seating.

We discovered Lilly’s last year and came back hoping it was still there. The pad Thai did not disappoint! Very flavorful.

Great food- has many gluten-free and vegetarian options. I had Szechuan tofu which comes with a nice variety of vegetables. The medium spice was a nice hint of spice without burning my mouth.
My husband enjoyed the chicken Kung Pao. What he noticed initially was it was not deep fried.
Service was also great; very friendly and helpful.

My wife & I are not Two Harbors residents, but our daughter lives in Two Harbors. We have given Lilly’s a try twice….once for last summer’s visit & this summer. We have been disappointed both times. I love salt, but Lilly uses an overabundance of it in every dish I’ve tried so far. For the cost of food, the portions are much smaller compared to traditional Chinese restaurant cuisine. The food also taste different than what I’m used to eating and can’t quite figure out what spice or flavoring she adds to make the meal taste dissimilar than what we are used to. I ordered a quart of pork & shrimp wonton soup and when we arrived home the quart was 2/3 full; short of at least a cup of chicken broth. They are the only Chinese restaurant in Two Harbors I believe….so if you are willing to drive to Duluth and try another highly reviewed Chinese restaurant, you’ll have to do so. On a good note, the staff seem friendly and I get the sense they aim to please. All in all, I’m disappointed & likely won’t return to try another dish for a third time.

I have lived in town for a long time, today was the first time ordering. Great setup totally online order and pay, love that. Got a text when ready. No need to call. The food was great, we had the sweet and sour chicken, best fried chicken I have had. Large portions and a lot of menu options. Wontons were great, and huge. Will be a regular option for us now.
