I stopped by here for breakfast today and had a relatively good time. The menu is straightforward and affordable. Bacon and eggs were exactly what you’d expect and were fine–nothing special. I found the biscuits a bit on the sweeter side and the gravy was room temperature and a bit bland, which was disappointing. However, the hash brown casserole (recommended by the wait staff, not on the menu) was freshly hot and the highlight of the meal.
The highlight of every visit is how friendly the staff is.

Cozy medium sized mom and pa place. There isn’t a sign on the street but it’s right before (or after depending on the direction you come from) an old fashioned Sprite sign. The entrance is on the side of the building not the front facing the street. The service was super friendly and the food was all cooked the way we wanted it and tasty. I really enjoyed the biscuits and gravy, could be a little salty – the gravy – but of course combined with a biscuit it balanced it nicely. The biscuits were soft on the inside and had a crisp maybe buttery bottom. It was good. I asked for crispy bacon and they did a good job. My son got corned beef hash and it isn’t homemade (we’ve only seen that one place though in many years and many places) but we really liked that they crispy cooked it on all sides, no mushy hash! We went for breakfast but will have to come back and check them out at lunch sometime.

Ordered an Omelette w/ biscuit and gravy, half order of biscuit and gravy and the eggs, bacon with biscuit and gravy meals, all arrived hot and delicious. Great place for a hearty Southern meal. Will definitely be back when traveling through Chattanooga.

This place takes forever to get your food out to you. It’s not good either; completely flavorless, missing any salt or pepper, and both our dishes were cold. The hash browns looked and tasted like they were made of either fake potato or were actually some strange kind of noodle. The coffee is bad, possibly Folgers? I really can’t say anything positive about this place. Other then: if you’re looking for your missing grandparents, they might be here.

If you are not going to Lily’s for catfish, Friday, you are missing out. Wife and I were there at 10:30 which I thought was too early to get the catfish but we really wanted some and they happily obliged. Hush puppies, french fries, coleslaw, string beans everything was great. Hot stuff was really hot. I was packed. Had to take a box back home. Great prices too. Interior is a cross between Salvation Army and your grandmother‘s kitchen. I’m thinking that’s how they keep the food quality up and prices down.

It’s a nice place to eat at. Prices are not bad.
But I would not get the laguna to go again. It was a mess and a very small serving.
My daughter ordered a pizza after seeing this.

The food was very good. We came in hoping for a large amount of breakfast food, and that is exactly what we got!
The waitress was very kind and even one of the workers behind the counter came and talked to us. Very good people

Wonderful service however the food was not good. The ham was extremely salty and you could taste the tap water in the grits. The sausage egg was good. Oh and there were ants at our table. Basic frozen-taste biscuits.
