This is a sweet little sandwich shop. The gentleman at the front counter is always friendly and the food is delicious! My favorite is their chicken salad which is very finely chopped. It’s delicious on their house salad. They have their own dressing which includes dill and is so refreshing. It’s worth a try!
Sometimes the service is a bit slow, but just be patient because the food is worth it and they are working diligently to prepare the order.
Also, they have a freezer full of homemade casseroles. I have bought these for my own family when on a business trip or for occasions when I wanted to provide a meal for others. They even have homemade biscuits!

I’ve been ordering cakes from Lillian’s for 30+ years (they are delicious) but only recently sat down to eat. It was so good so now I’ve been back several times. Highly recommend Lillian’s for lunch.

Delicious food, excellent customer service! I ordered lunch to go today. I asked the young man behind the counter for recommendations for salads. He recommended the house salad tossed in their delicious homemade herb dressing with a scoop of shrimp salad. It was all fabulous. This was my first time there and I will definitely go back.

I really wanted to like this place! And I finally had a weekday off to try it so I bought a few things to make the most of my visit. I spent $50 on the PLT, a brownie bite, a lemon square, and the small take home tettrazini and breakfast casserole. The PLT bread was hard and the provolone was paper thin and jagged, hardly any flavor. Cole slaw was really good though! I thought they had redeemed themselves when I baked the take home dinner that night, it was really good with a little salt and pepper! But the breakfast casserole the next morning was watery and terrible. There are no dates, ingredients or nutritional facts on the take home items so beware.. Pretty sure the casserole was watery because it was freezer burned. It’s a shame, I really wanted to support a local business

I eat at Lillian’s at least 3 times a week. It’s the freshest, most delicious lunch in Columbia. The mother/son combo behind the register and in the kitchen are always so so kind and accommodating. Can’t say enough about the food or team.

Love this place. The salads are my favorite. Fresh food every time! I think they could use an update on their decor and tables but it’s still a cute place but food is fabulous! My favorite tea is here too…tropical tea!

I love Lillians but was extremely disappointed last week to see how drastically they’ve cut the portion of chicken salad on the green salad option. It was barely a tablespoonful! So in effect, I paid $17 for a plate of lettuce, a tablespoonful of pasta salad, and a tablespoonful of fruit, and a cup of iced tea. That is outrageous. I would be embarrassed to hand a customer something like that. Realizing food prices have increased, I would prefer that they be honest about their pricing (raise them) and portions than to be treated that way. Sadly, I won’t be back, as great as their food is.

I hate to give a bad review to a restaurant because I understand how hard it is to be in business for yourself. The idea here is to give the manager some tips for improvement so the place can do better. They need a separate team to do takeout orders so ppl who actually are sitting there don’t have to wait so long. They need a pleasant person at the order counter. They need to up their game on the quality of their food. 30$ for a mediocre salad and sandwich (no drinks) will not make us want to return.

It’s been awhile but Lillians is my place. I love the TPLT on croissant with no sprouts, spicy mustard and double fruit with a lemon bar. They know my order. Lemonade is good just like I like it. Love the staff. Easy to order and get in and out. Typically they are busy. Order ahead for the easiest pick up. They close @ 2. I love the style.

Shared with server at cash register we needed to look at menu board before ordering because we had not been in a long time. No comment, just waiting on our order. No “ welcome back, glad to have you,” nothing, no smile. She must have had a bad day that day. My sandwich bread had either been toasted and gotten cold or the bread was stale. I ate half of it. My friends had a similar experience with their food and even though we thought about dessert, decided we would move on. So sorry but we won’t be back.
