Had a great night. Went for our anniversary dinner. 30 minute wait at 5pm; but got longer as night went on so get there early! Staff was friendly and food was very good. Didn’t feel rushed even though they were really busy. The vibe is old school Hollywood meets the 60s. Think Rat Pack, Elvis and the Sopranos.

We tried Liliana’s for the first time this weekend. Got there a little after 11am when they open, because we’d heard there could be long wait times. But we were seated right away. Service was great! Food was a little lacking in some areas. We ordered the fried artichokes, a side Caesar salad, a pastrami “Italiano” sandwich with side a tomato basil pasta, and the lasagna. I also ordered the Lily’s Sangria made with white wine and it was good, but tasted more like a wine spritzer than a sangria. The menu said the fried artichokes came with a “spicy aioli”, but instead was a chipotle aioli with no heat and didn’t really pair well with the appetizer. The artichokes themselves were nicely fried, light & crispy (cover them in Parmesan cheese with or without a dipping sauce and they would be better). My husband got the sandwich and he’s a big pastrami connoisseur and said it was more like thinly sliced roast beef than pastrami (no seasoning crust on the edges and flavor was missing). The sandwich wasn’t bad, just not what he expected. The side of tomato basil pasta was a good portion, but slightly on the sweet side. Now the lasagna was the star of lunch and I really enjoyed it. I’ve found that people have varying preferences for lasagna and for me this was a really good version. Simple pasta-meat-cheese-sauce, without the extra ingredients like mushrooms, peas, béchamel sauce that other establishments add to theirs. The lasagna was also a generous portion, but I was disappointed that our server didn’t offered the side salad since we were dining in between 11-3. Overall, the food and service were good and when I’m craving lasagna this will definitely be the place we come to.

I got the pizza and it was really good, I got the provel mozzarella blend with sausage and pepperoni. I’ve never in my life been disappointed getting pizza especially really good pizza, but one bite of the lasagna and I knew I’d make the wrong choice. The lasagna is something special I will definitely be getting them the next time I come here.

Liliana’s is a great addition to Cottleville. We went on Thursday for lunch and the parking lot was packed. A fire department truck was there. Those guys always find the best places in town to eat. I call the decor martini chic with nods to 50’s celebrities. The food was very good and obviously made from scratch with good ingredients. All of the bread from the table bread to the bruschetta, even the croutons had a delightful crunch. I heard other patrons rave about the pizza. Seafood Cannoli, House Specialty Chicken Spedini and Tenderloin Modiga were all exceptional. Curtis the manager came by our table to say hi and check on us. Very personal and professional. I hope Liliana’s Italian Kitchen remains in Cottleville for many years to come.

Welcome to Cottleville!! From the flash fried spinach in the Fry appetizer (huge and amazing) to the handmade Tiramisu (best in Cottleville!!) this lunch was fantastic from start to finish. The Sinatra music was perfect for our midday lunch date. Service was excellent.

Love how it is decorated, the food is beyond excellent! Homemade, authenic Italian dishes that are very generous. The sandwiches have names after The Soprano’s characters :). The service was good and the server was friendly. You must GO if you love Italian food!
