My husband and I arrived on a Saturday night at 6:25 and was seated at a dirty table. The waiter didn’t notice and was going to set the menu’s down until I told him that it was dirty. He asked me if I wanted to move to next table over, but that didn’t very either. So he went and got a towel and wiped the table down.

Fun times! Very informative staff, great service and excellent food. We were informed that this needs to be a place to visit. Our informant did not let us down. Southern, not Cajon or Creole food, good/great stuff. From Nashville hot chicken, Poboy sandwich, shrimp and grits with fried okra. Loved every bit of it. Sorry, no picture of the fried cauliflower it was gone before a picture could be taken. It’s definitely one of our top 5 in Lincoln.

Yaassss soul food!! The greens felt like my grandma was in there! And the cornbread was light fluffy and sweet. The wings had a savory sweet flavor and a nice crunch. I would have add a little more seasoning to the fish but overall it was good with the onions and hot sauce I ate ALL of my food. The strawberry lemonade embodied southern sweetness

As you can see, my husband couldn’t wait for the camera to eat first. Had the Nashville hot chicken strips and waffle with fried cauliflower and mac ‘n cheese. Delicious! Will definitely be coming back. Our only comment is that we were hoping for a bar/cocktail menu. Overall great place!

First off, the food was INCREDIBLE. 5 stars in that regard. We got the cheesy fries as an appetizer and the sauce was incredible. The fries were well seasoned and there was plenty to go around for 3. I had their Big Smooth sandwich and it was amazing. They did everything right – buttered and toasted brioche bun, seasoned (but not too spicy) chicken, a maple waffle in the middle. Yum!

The food and service was amazing! We tried three appetizers. The Fried Cauliflower, Fried Okra and the Lila wings. I tried Shrimp n Grits with collard greens for the first time and was not disappointed! Can’t wait to go back!

Well I would love to write a review of the food here but after waiting 20 minutes to just ask for something to drink we had to leave and get some food somewhere else. It was just after noon on a Tuesday, not too busy and we only had an hour and a half to get out for lunch, which is more than enough time for every other restaurant in town. I watched people who were there before me sit and wait the entire time for ice water while their food sat in the window for the waitress that kept walking past it. Also they have some fun names for sandwiches on their menu with zero description of what is in it and without someone available to ask it was entirely impossible to even know what one is ordering in some cases. I wanted to write a raving review for this place, I’m from the south and miss good food but Lila Mae’s doesn’t even get past the starting line.
