Burgers in many combos plus housemade shakes served in an energetic local-chain outpost.

I enjoy Lil’ Woody’s. The service is good and the staff is usually friendly. You can build your own burger or choose from their specialty options. I like their specialty creations, but I do wish that if you remove cheese (I’m not a fan of cheese), you could substitute it with something else. FYI: adding cheese is $1.50 and other ingredients cost extra, but if you remove cheese from a specialty burger, the price stays the same ♂️ … just a small nitpick.
Overall, I still enjoy this place and will continue to support it. Definitely recommended!

Lil Woody’s Ballard is a great go-to for a classic local burger and fries — consistently tasty, fresh, and satisfying. The Ballard location has a great vibe, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming.
One piece of feedback: when you substitute ingredients on a burger, it would be great if removing something (like cheese) and adding another (like extra lettuce) balanced out in the pricing, rather than resulting in an added charge. I mentioned this to the owner and she was open to the idea and said they’d look into how to implement it — which is a really encouraging sign of customer-focused thinking.
Overall, it’s a solid neighborhood spot with great food and people, and I’m excited to see how they continue to evolve!

I was really excited to try Lil Woody’s in Ballard, especially since I was quite hungry. Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be disappointing. I ordered the Cap Hill fried chicken sandwich with fries and onion rings, but none of it met my expectations.
The fries and onion rings were particularly oily—practically drenched in oil—making them inedible. The sandwich was just okay; I’ve had much better sandwiches at many other places, and If I could say lots of fast food restaurants have better sandwiches. The chicken was dry and utterly tasteless.
Since we couldn’t eat most of the food due to the terrible taste, we decided to order a coffee almond fudge milkshake. Thankfully, it was good, likely because it was made with Tillamook ice cream.
Despite the ample seating, casual vibe, and friendly staff, we were not happy with the place and won’t be returning for the food.

I’m very pro Lil’ Woodys. Excellent location right on Market. $3.50 modelos! Burgers are always solid. Their basket of fries are huge and well seasoned. One of the more affordable meets high quality spots.
Ambiance is a little cold but clean and staff is always good. No complaints for a solid burger in Ballard!

It’s an okay burger, one of the more economical choices in the Ballard area compared to the other restaurants nearby, but they don’t let you use gift cards online which is bewildering, infuriating, and pretty much does the opposite of encouraging me to spend my money there. I have a 30 minute lunch and the last thing I wanna do is spend half of it waiting for my order because I’m not allowed to use the gift card for its intended purpose. It’s the gift that doesn’t give.
FIX IT.

First time trying out this place. Was a really good experience. My wife also enjoyed it, and she is pretty picky about food and liked it a lot. Burgers were flavorful, and juicy shake was tasty! Definitely recommend this place if you enjoy burgers . Also, they have a burger of the month that is always changing the menu!

My friends and I walked to the Ballard Locks as we parked near this burger joint. I ordered the salmon burger, fries, and vanilla shake. The burger was the perfect size, the buns were fluffy, and the Tillamook vanilla milkshake was well worth the extra calories.

I’ve been to this location a handful of times and have always had pleasant customer service. The food arrives timely, hot, and incredibly delicious.
Their Seattle burger month special, the deli burger, was perhaps one of the best burgers I’ve ever had the pleasure of enjoying! I think they should look at adding it to the regular menu, or at least that everything spiced bun! Oh man!!
The interior is bright and colorful, nice wood tables. It’s not overly huge inside though, and there is a very small space right out front to dine as well.
Their fries and crispy and thin, the onion rings are perfectly battered and the burgers are juicy, flavorful, with fresh toppings and sauces.
I don’t understand why this location doesn’t have a high rating, it’s literally the best!!

Really really good salmon burger. Like next level. Beef burger also insanely good. Queso and fries were very tasty, onion rings also very good. Running out of adjectives here but I really dig the vibe of the place. Idk what people are saying about cafeteria quality; it’s also on the cheaper side for the area. Anyways will be back!

Came in at 8:20 pm. Service very attentive and friendly. Ample seating. Front dining area playing nice hip hop and back dining area playing European love songs. I come here for the seemingly 10% fat content burgers that they press hard, dry out —well done and crispy charred edges. I am not into their hard paper thin bacon but I love their horseradish (Trotter for horse?) and other creations. I can not wait to try their floats and vegetarian choices!!! Highly recommend
