After a long day, we stopped in hoping to sit down to a nice meal before several more hours of travel. The tea and soda were awful, but we let it go since we were tired and hungry. We ordered the “daily special: meat & 2” thinking it would be the quickest option. After 40 minutes, we were served pitiful plates of frozen shrimp and uncooked potatoes. The menu boasted gulf shrimp, so I was surprised with what was on the plate. The potatoes were so undercooked that we could hardly cut them open. We asked to speak to the manager, and she did not make things any better. Excuses and asking us what we wanted her to do about it.
After an hour of being there, we opted to just leave.
When in town again, we will definitely be going to a different restaurant.

A great small town restaurant! Old style country lunch buffet and great staff. You can also order straight for the menu which has options that look really good. Definitely worth a try when you were in Jackson, Alabama.

I was looking for a sit down meal after eating fast food for 2 days. I stumbled into this resteraunt on Google and decided to try it. I had the baked potato with shrimp etouffe, absolutely AMAZING! Probably one of the best meals I’ve ever had. This little hole in the wall resteraunt surprised me with their fabulous service and amazing food. If I’m ever in Jackson Alabama again, I’ll eat here.

Atmosphere of a local diner. Slow Sunday afternoon. Not crowded. Service was friendly. Food was good. Some cajun flare, some classics. Wings were excellent. Will recommend and go back!

Food was delicious! Waitress was great! Her name was Beth It did take about 30 minutes to get our food but no problem, it was worth it! The food was good and hot! The hamburgers are huge! Never had a Burger topped with shrimp? Try their Cajun Burger! Yummy!

The food is out of this world. The blackened chicken is great, the hamburger steak is delicious. Some of our party has the gumbo, which was described as brown soup with seafood in it. They said the wings were good, though. The service was a little lacking, which was odd for a Monday night, as it took over an hour to get all of our food (hence the removed fifth star). They did have a large number of carry out orders, however, so it definitely appears to be popular among the locals.

Delicious food. The only reason for 4 star was they gave my husband beans instead of his fresh he ordered.
