I’ve been coming to Lil Pickle for over 20 years.
This place is what happens when a family actually gives a damn for over half a century. No gimmicks, no trends, no overpriced nonsense — just consistently great sandwiches made by people who know their craft and know their customers. The bread is right, the portions are honest, and everything tastes like it’s supposed to. You don’t survive 50+ years in a community by accident; you survive because locals trust you, bring their kids, and keep coming back. This spot earned its reputation the hard way, and it still delivers every single time. If you care about real food and real people, this is where you go.

Went here today, along with some friends, who apparently visit often and have been for years. Had the pastrami at their recommendation and it was delicious. Old neighborhood sandwich shop that appears to really give back and support the local community. Will definitely return.

I love this place and have been going for years but as a broke college student I’ve been pretty priced out of it. $12 for a 10in sub is pretty steep. Their giant sub at 14in is now $19?!? Crazy. But I’ll still come here for the very occasional treat. Their sandwiches are delicious, the bread is uber soft, and I actually love how stuffed it is with lettuce. They support their local schools/communities so bonus points.

This sandwich shop is the perfect hole in the wall go to stop. Every time I’m craving a sandwich this is where I go! They have the best pastrami sandwich I have ever had. It’s juicy and all the toppings and mustard on it is amazing. I love to add banana peppers as well! The turkey breast is a great sandwich option too. The classic bread they have is soft and yummy. It’s a must try! You won’t regret it. Pricing is average. About the same as subway, but tastes way better. The staff is so friendly and welcoming! If you like orange bang definitely try it there! It’s awesome.

Ordered the French dip and pastrami. French dip came out barely lukewarm with a cold middle but should be hot, barely any meat, no flavor and the bread was squishy and microwaved, it was a worse version of a microwaved sandwich from Costco. Pastrami had no flavor and the bread was the same. They just sprinkle cold shredded mozzarella cheese on it and wasn’t even close to being melted.
Didn’t want to eat either sandwich, so I brought it back and explained the situation, staff was rude, treated me like a scammer when I gave back 85% of the food and refused to give me my money back, what a waste of $30.
Should have went to Ike’s Love sandwiches with good food and real customer service.

We have been going to Lil Pickle for more than 25 years and have always been happy but recently we’ve noticed they sandwiches are shrinking. They used to be filled with lettuce and cheese but now there is a lot less of everything. Not happy with this change. Do better.
