What a great spot to grab a burrito! Phatty’s is located up on a hill with “Off the Grid” and “Smokin’ Bowls at off the grid (Ramen)”. It’s a cool little spot to hang out and enjoy your takeout. There was a firepit and it was very family friendly. The person making the food for us came out and spoke about the area and the history of the location. I loved the passion he had when talking about the food and the BBQ. The picture doesn’t represent how good and the portion size. My burrito was overstuffed with tender smoked beef brisket and all the fixings. This place is a must try and I can’t wait to go back and try Birria’s.

If this had been my first experience at Off The Grid, I would never go back. Very disappointed with the whole package at Lil’ Phatty’s this time —-food and service. Cod tacos had one scrawny piece of fish in each taco —-the contents of all 3 tacos should have been used to fill just one! A friend ordered the taco trio and the meat in those tacos was COLD —had to return it so the cook could “try again”. Overall the tacos were not great, to say the least. And we had to wait 30 minutes for our order —and it was NOT at all busy there! Cook had one speed: SLOW. And that would have been OK if the food was phenomenal, but it was not. Certainly not worth the price!

It was just ok. Got there expecting big stuffed burritos. But they told me all they have are tacos! Kind of a let down considering the pictures. I imagine the girl at the counter just didn’t tell me they have another set up across the street from the taco shack.

Went here for the first time for lunch. Price was fine, however the food was just okay. We ordered three burritos. They seemed confused when we asked for carnitas in the burritos. Flavor was bland, the hot sauce they gave us was not spicy (disappointed). Definitely a place more for tourists and not someone whose seeming authentic flavor. The pictures from previous reviews had me looking forward to trying this place, but after eating here I was left so disappointed. I’ll continue my search for authentic Mexican burritos and food.

My husband and I love this place, and more than once we’ve ordered when we’ve had out of town company to share the goodness! You can tell they’re using fresh, quality ingredients and we’ve liked everything we’ve ever gotten. The Thai chicken burrito bowl they’ve done in the past and the very recent OTG burrito are especially fantastic. Their prices are reasonable and service has also always been quick and friendly. The town of Sandwich doesn’t have anything else like this right now, and we can only hope that Phatty’s is here to stay for a long time!

Oh man, wicked good!! We got street tacos and husband got a flank steak taco, all stellar. The burnt cheese as a topping is killer, you know that cheese you get at the edge of a quesadilla, yeah that amazing crunchy cheese. You get that layered over the whole tortilla then throw a bunch of meat and toppings on it. It’s right down the street from the Sandwich Beach and will definitely be our stop in place when we are in that area.

I first enjoyed off the grid BBQ by way of their food truck in St Thomas and quickly became a regular customer. Seeing one of my old friends playing music there (Barefoot Davis), eating off the grid and enjoying the beautiful grounds and sprawling outdoor seating was a very pleasant, nostalgic experience. Highly recommend this place
