We live nearby in Downs, so the cafe in Tipton is very convenient to have a meal out. My wife & I split a chicken fried steak supper between us. A great tasting chicken fried & big enough to satisfy both of us. One of those would be more than I would wish to eat by myself. The meal came with two sides, so each of us had a baked potato. Our potatoes were done perfectly. This is a place that serves Midwestern comfort food in a small town atmosphere. The seating is a combination of booths & tables. There is a second large room with a bar area with a TV. Lastly, the prices are reasonable. Just a nice clean place to get a good meal.

I liked it. I had a BLT and fries, with an ice tea. It was really good. Very nice people. I don’t think I could over emphasize how nice these people are. Kansas is a hidden gem. Don’t forget to check out the auctions and shops at this little crossroad in the middle of nowhere. Sometimes you just like something because you like it
