How had I not tried this place out? This looks like the perfect place for breakfast and an early lunch. So, I stopped in as I was in the area for work, and let me tell you… I can just feel the vibe. Because I was in a little bit of a rush, I could only order 2 of my go-to tacos, Chicharron con Salsa. I was not disappointed at all. The young lady who took my order was absolutely awesome.Welcomed me before.I even finished walking through the door. I ordered a large coffee.Also which came in a 32 ounce cup, which is no longer available at many Mexican restaurants.So I was glad to know that I could get one and she gave me french vanilla creamer from the fridge. The coffee was great also. The menu looks simple and easy to choose from. I was also glad the food turn around was really quick.
She told me they opened up about 5 am. in the morning and close about 2 pm. if i’m correct. I am definitely going to stop in again and check out the Lil Johnny’s Big Taco for sure. Thank you for your service, kindness, professionalism, fresh coffee, and, of course, my tacos. See you very soon!

You’re greeted apon entry and everyone is so nice and friendly. The potato and egg taco was so darn delicious . The cheese enchiladas and awesome. Now the beans and rice made me do the happy dance. I can’t wait to return and try another item off of the menu. I have already recommended this restaurant to my family members. I’ve visited two times with two different family members. I really enjoyed it.

The food is great, and the service is great. I like small-town food in a big city environment. The pricing is very fair on the food. The two waitresses are very great at their job. They never seem to be too busy to ask for something. A couple of times, I went there and was very Undecisive on what to eat, the waitresses will give you their opinion and they are very patient with customers/ me. This place will always have my business. Keep up the great work, y’all.

I’ve been coming to lil Johnny’s at least once a year since for the last 25+ years and the food is usually pretty good… the tortillas are excellent but they don’t give you hardly any good, the carne guisada was almost all fat, the papa ranchera was fried potatoes with a little bit of what looked like taco sauce, the bean and cheese was really good but I don’t think I’ll be back after yesterdays visit…

If you eat inside, have as much salsa as you want. If you order 3 tacos to go, you only get 1 small sample, but they will happily charge you for more. They need to fix this issue. Made me upset.

Food was very minium. Potatoes had no salt while under cooked. Biggest problem was I was served old reheated rice. I asked and the lady at the front confirmed it was old. I told her it is best to say you have no rice than to server old terrible rice from the day before.
