Don’t let the inside gas station location fool you; this place is awesome. It seemed a little sketchy at first, but the smell alone confirmed we found a great place. After tasting the food we agreed it was a 5 star worthy BBQ restaurant. If you are looking for really good food, eat here.

The chicken was good, and I would give it 3.5 stars. My dining companion had the ribs and rated them 5 stars. It is a food counter in a convenience store, where they cook outside and in ovens inside. The price is reasonable and the staff friendly.

This place is located inside a gas station. There’s not much parking. The barbecue sauce, beans, and coleslaw, were outstanding.
The pulled pork which I expected to be the signature dish left a lot to be desired. The dining area was somewhat unclean.

Hello,
I just left this establishment no more than 3 mins ago. A small white lady and a mixed guy with a beard were behind the counter. As I ordered I noticed that the young ladies all those she washed her hands was not wearing gloves so I requested she put on some gloves. The young man who was mopping or sweeping proceeded to let me know that it was much safer to not wear gloves than it is to wear gloves. I told him but my preference and every other restaurant that I’ve been to they’ve worn gloves and I feel more comfortable with her wearing gloves did not. At this point he proceeded to go back and forth with me over what I preferred and at this time I was about ready to just say forget the food and just leave up until the young lady stated just forget it it doesn’t matter to me. At this point I just walked out. I will be leaving a review in regards to this situation because that is just absolute bad customer service. I almost didn’t even order because your location is absolutely fill in the food looks really dry as if no one’s replacing it at all. I think you should check your location once or twice a week because the people that are running it is not doing a good job. I never go back there again.

Don’t let the location fool ya! It may be in a gas station but this place is the real deal – Tender, fall-off-the-bone ribs & juicy, flavorful chicken for the win! The smothered cabbage and coleslaw were homemade and delicious. I’ll definitely be back!!

Don’t let the outside of this place fool you. After tasting the brisket, I was convinced. This place has great bbq. The person who took my order said this was her mother’s bbq business. Brisket is 5 star. Pork ribs 5 star. Chopped beef 4 star. We also had jambalaya, potato salad, and baked beans that were all excellent. I would give this spot 4.5 stars of I could. Ill be back.

The food is consistently good. The jambalaya is to die for. Ribs, sausage, brisket, its all good. Just got back from our monthly Men’s outreach at our church and Donna (owner of Lil Daddy’s) provided the pulled pork sandwiches. Found me another thing I like there now. But, do not go there on Sundays for bar-b-q. Like Chikfila, they ain’t open on Sundays. Again, another reason to support this business. Thank you Donna and the staff for a great dinner for our Men’s Group.

Bout the best bbq ribs I ever had! This is myy place to go when I want some real good finger lickin’ juicy bbq! Sides are awesome as well! Especially that jambalaya! Very much worth every penny!

Prices are very reasonable and the employees are very helpful and friendly.
We were on our way back to lake charles from baton rouge and it was well worth going off the beaten path to find a place.
