Great Cajun food. We shared and all we had left was some corn. We ate it all. Finger lickin good, but our lips have a good burn after all the mud bugs, corn, taters and boudin. Very friendly people and customers. God bless this business for the glory of your Kingdom. We were strangers in their town and they invited us in. We were hungry and they fed us. Ok boys and girls, if you are in the mood for crawfish, mud bugs ,crawdads, or what ever you have grown fond of calling them, then this is the place to come. A quaint little mom and pop shop with the best flavor profile we have found for the Lil Animals ( pun intended, lol). Fresh , hot and beautiful seasoned , these crawfish will awakening even the pickiest of eaters. We have been to multiple restaurants in the past 2 weeks, searching for this year’s go to location, and hands down, this is it! The shrimp are equally as good and the boudin is a perfect addition to any meal. So if you want truelly the best crawfish from a family owned and operated business, come see Ms Kim and her husband Tommy for a great meal. Oh yeah, did I mention it is a true family ran business down to the sons and daughter working the kitchen and register. Thanks again Tommy and Kim, we will see you soon!

If you’re looking for an incredible crawfish experience, look no further than Lil Animals! My friend and I had originally planned to visit our favorite crawfish spot yesterday, only to find it closed for Easter. Luckily, we discovered this gem nearby, and I can honestly say it puts all other crawfish places to shame!
The flavors were absolutely outstanding, and we couldn’t resist trying the snow crab legs as well. Every bite was packed with deliciousness, and the service we received was top-notch. The family that owns this restaurant is genuinely kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home with their warm attitudes. It’s clear that they take pride in their food and service, and it really shows!
I can’t recommend Lil Animals enough, and I will definitely be returning for more of their amazing food. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and check it out—you won’t be disappointed!

Don’t let the outside of the building fool you, this is really a wonderful place. It’s a family-owned hole-in-the-wall that’s worth trying. If you want your crawfish or shrimp less spicy you better tell them. They haven’t been open very long so they’re still doing some tweaking along the way. All the food is broiled and not fried. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the Crawfish. It was everything that she was looking for. I had the shrimp and it was too spicy for me but I enjoyed it anyway. The potatoes were a bit small and they should look at trying to get larger spuds. Maybe some people like everything on their food spicy but they should give the customer options from the get go. Once they get all the wrinkles out of their process, this restaurant should go very far. The owners are very open to suggestions and they want to please their customers. I have a feeling we’ll be going back again. I gave the restaurant 4 out of 5 stars because there is room for improvement. I feel that my next review will be five stars.

Awesome crawfish! It was well seasoned with just the right amount of spice and juices! The potatoes and corn were good as well. Not bland like some places. ALL of the staff were very friendly with smiling faces. 10/10 recommend. We will definitely be back for more!

I went to Lil Animals on July 29th and lets just say I will not be going back! I was charged $31 for a grab bag that was so small it probably wouldn’t fill up a child! My mother spent $50 plus and her bag was smaller than mine! And then of course there was the no refund sign posted on the wall! This place is scamming people and getting away with it because it clearly states that you cannot get a refund! I have never felt so taken advantage of in my life! Definitely will not be getting my business again!

Lil Animals on Line Avenue is hands-down one of the best seafood spots I’ve ever been to — and I’m not just talking about the crawfish (which were AMAZING). From the moment my friend Abby and I walked in, we were welcomed like family. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and genuinely full of love — you can tell this is a true family-owned business with heart behind it.
The service? Impeccable. We haven’t had service that thoughtful and kind in years. They made sure we were taken care of every step of the way, checking on us with smiles, good conversation, and the kind of southern hospitality that’s hard to find these days.
