I remember this place from long ago. The decor hasn’t changed a bit. Very dark dining room; a little lighter at the lunch counter area. The chairs are old with splitting seats and everything could use an update. The food, however, is good, inexpensive, hometown cooking. Generous servings. Great casual service. I could do without the “skill game” machines. Worth the visit.

It’s the old Dairy Nook. The food was great on Mothers Day. We didn’t intend on having a large lunch but the specials were attractive so we did! Very friendly server. Good old hometown feeling. From the gob cake to the homemade pie and bread. I had turkey (very good) my hubby had the pork chop. We enjoyed both. Seems they’ve “upped” their game significantly.

Great, personalized service from someone who clearly is a pro at food service Several items posted on the board or on the menu were unavailable. My friend had to change her order, and mine came out with the wrong condiment. Kitchen was not communicating with wait staff, so they were uninformed. Prices are fair, the food I did get was good for family-style diner fare. Atmosphere is neat, though a little confusing (maybe an attempt at eclectic?). Location is great. Will go back and try other menu items next time.

Quaint little family owned restaurant. Offers a nice selection of entries on the menu. We dined in for breakfast yesterday. We both had Western Omlets with home fries on the side. Service was good, the meal was delicious and the portion was very generous. We left with satisfied full bellies.
