Okay restaurant just before the bridge to sanibel island.
We didn’t have a reservation and were lucky to get a table on the patio with a nice view. Service was okay but a bit lacking, we were given warm bread and butter but not cutlery and cutlery came about 5 minutes after our mains had been served.
I ordered the 14oz ribeye which was very disappointing. It was un seasoned and actually cold. The Bernaise sauce was just out of a bottle and tasted grim. Really not what I was expecting for a $60 main course.
Fries and onions rings were okay but the calamari was not crispy, the breading was a bit soggy. Friends all ordered fish which seemed to be a good option. Someone did mention this is a seafood restaurant but all meals should be to a good standard if they’re on the menu.
I would have mentioned about my steak to the staff but they didn’t check on us till we were done.
Our friend was also overcharged by $50 which we think to be a mistake but not ideal.
I won’t be coming back to lighthouse and in fact we had a much nicer meal for half the price at doc fords the following evening.

Some of the best food I’ve ever had! Drinks, appetizers, entrees, desserts; all amazing! Very friendly staff. Pretty view of the water and sunset. The Chef here knows what they are doing! Highly recommend !!

There were ZERO things wrong with this place. It was an absolute dream to dine here.
The atmosphere is upscale but laid back. Cool music playing, beautiful view of the water, and an over classy dining room that made you feel really special.
Our server was incredibly attentive, our drinks were amazing and food was unforgettable. The Cajun Seafood Bowl was a trip to New Orleans with a spoon!

We spent over $450. The food presentation was good but food was marginal. It was busy but food came out cold, Steaks/Meat was chewy,( cold food ruined the night) we tried to make reservations a month ahead of our trip but said there reservations wait list was full but we could do walk in with no problem. I called 45 minutes before going and they said, we could get a table. We arrived and was told, they are full. This was Christmas eve and I had my family of 7 all dressed up. They did make room but it was outside and the bugs were horrible. Ended up with a 100 bug bites each and our dinner ruined with bad food for $450. Staff was great, atmosphere was amazing.

I broke a rule and had steak at a seafood restaurant. Steak was ok at best. The tuna tower was amazing. Could have been a lot better for the price. 5 o’clock and couldn’t get a baked sweet potato. Odd. Veggies were bland at best.

So happy that we visited. Food was delicious and our server, Eartha was the absolute best. After eating dinner outside we went into the bar to listen to karaoke. Danielle was an outstanding bartender! Will be coming back.

We celebrated my wife’s birthday at the Lighthouse on Saturday evening. We had a group of 14 people . The hospitality and service could not have been any better. From the hostess Meghan, taking our cake and refrigerate it for us immediately to the excellent waiter Jason. Between the music, the food and the service it was a great evening. Everyone was very happy with their meals and drinks. It was a great evening in a wonderful venue.

This is not a fair review. The service and atmosphere are very good. You have a very nice water view, and service, especially bar service, is fantastic. They have non-intrusive musical entertainment which is much appreciated. Guitarists and duos are very good and don’t override conversation. For bar service, the team is a well-oiled machine. And bartender Matt is awesome.
My issue is with the food. And the food is fine. I was first attracted by the online menu, and of course the photos of their menu. They had a number of interesting selections and I went there with these in mind. The creative hamburger offering was no longer available. The only hamburger offered was nothing special. I would rate it between a good fast food burger and an outback burger. The fries are fantastic though, and the onion rings are also quite good. I like trying French onion soup, and that had been taken off the menu.
The baked Oysters Rockefeller were a big hit at the table as well as oysters on the half shell. My lighthouse Cobb salad was good but not special. My blackened mahi-mahi was very good. I’ve been here a couple of times. I didn’t eat all this in one setting. Good music and fantastic bar service is a solid 5, but I expected more out of the kitchen. Know before you go… The listed $5 happy hour specials are $7. I sure do wish outdated photos of menus would be deleted.

Holy Cow! What an AMAZING FIND the Lighthouse Restaurant was!!! We decided to try the Lobster Bisque, the Smoked Brisket Butnt Ends, the Blistered Bacon Shishitos and the Crab Stuffed Unicorn Fish. I must say every delightful bite of each of these was tantalizing to my palette!!! The Lobster bisque was creamy & delicious! The Blistered Bacon Shishtos were tasty and not too spicy, I was impressed!!! The crab stuffed unicorn fish was light and flaky and had the most delicious flavor I highly suggest. I feel the best thing about our meal was our server Alyssa. She was so helpful and eager to share suggestions. This type of server every restaurant should hire! She was pleasant and friendly and patient. The lighting is not very conducive for pictures….. So I apologize ahead of time for that.. this is definitely a new favorite place for me.
