Is this best made, most awesome tasting thin crust pizza I’ve ever had actually assmbled in the bar or is it some kind of frozen pizza that they just bake n serve? It’s such a perfect pizza i can believe it was made in the restaurant, it has to be a premium brand frozen pizza. I’d like to know.

Great drive bar with delicious tavern style za. They were definitely understaffed during our visit so it was about a 3 hour “experience.” That being said the two bartenders they had were working their tails off. I’d definitely return.

Nautical theme is kitchy and fun. Staff has been doing it a long time. Customers are a unique mix of locals and regulars with some random mix ins (like me!)

This place has a lot of history in Waterloo. Generations have come here to visit and have fun a unique space. Not may places like this exist anymore. I suggest a stop-in, it is original. ❤️. I added pics during Chriatmas time.

Drinks arrived quickly, but very poor kitchen service. We enjoyed the pizza, but waited almost 2 hours for 1 pizza, at our last 3 visits. Fed the expensive jukebox, but could not hear it over the crowd. Sadly, no longer a hidden gem.

Cash only bar, could hardly read the ATM to take out cash. Not our type of pizza. It was greasy, we ordered extra cheese not sure where that was…if we were drunk and starving, it might have tasted okay. Cheese bread paper put on top stuck to the cheese, that was a waste. We really wanted to like this reading the reviews, but it wasn’t good.

The pizza is thin crust and toppings were good with lots of cheese. Pizza always comes out very hot, I recommend waiting a few minutes before biting into a piece. We enjoy the cheese bread as well. The beer selection is American classics. I’m not a big fan of thin crust, but others that were fans enjoyed it. They only take cash, which is a downside. However they have an ATM inside. They always have good decorations for each holiday, but kind of dark inside as there are no windows.
