Paid $55 before tip $65 with tip for two fish and chips plates with a drink for each. There is no dine in only take away from a drive thru window. Was rung up by a polite lady at the window, then handed a bag at window number 4 by a literal child who didn’t even respond with words when I asked him a question and then said thank you. Drove away and pulled over to park and eat at picnic tables and opened a $28 box of food to see what you see in the picture below. If you think that’s what a $28 dollar plate of food should look like then I think we just might have to agree to disagree.

Don’t let the exterior fool you, the Lighthouse Grill had the best Fish & Chips in Homer out of 5 restaurants we tried. Prices were way lower than the spit, the view from the back porch was awesome!

The halibut fish and chips was outstanding in flavor! My biggest issue with fish and chips is it’s often too dry and bland, but these guys nailed it on the head! Perfectly seasoned and moist. Great amount of fish per order and price point is equal to others in town. Was able to split three orders between a family of 4 and still had leftovers! 10/10 would recommend. Friendly cashier and great food, will definitely be visiting on our next trip back.

We loved the halibut fish and chips and clam chowder! The chowder was amazing. It tastes so delicious and homemade. No fake taste. The shrimp was okay, not our favorite, but the other food made up for it. The restaurant wasn’t open for dining in, but we sat at the picnic table just outside. Beautiful views thru the light drizzling. This food warmed our innards! We actually went back and ordered more because it was just that good.

We had Halibut Fish and chip with a salad. HALIBUT WAS COOKED PERFECT and very FRESH!
The batter was just right and not heavy. The salad had fresh mushrooms, shredded carrots, red onions, leaf lettuce, cocktail tomatoes with a large choice of dressings.
The price was very reasonable for Homer. Much better then the spit prices. Their menu has a good variety. Don’t let the size of the building fool you! Good things come in small places!
