I had the fried catfish dinner for lunch here today. It was phenomenal. The fish was fresh, hot and seasoned just like my grandma’s used to be. It came with 2 sides. I had onion rings and fries, which were hot and delicious as well. The interior is charming and well kept and the service was great!! I highly recommend this hidden gem.

Lighthouse Diner is an acceptable choice in a town dominated by fast food and pizza. The food is decent and could be comparable in quality to Cracker Barrel. Service is generally decent and the food is always warm/cooked well. Ambiance is not the strength here, but neither is it the goal.

Lighthouse’s ultimate flaw is that the owners change the hours what seems like weekly. Not being open for dinner on weekends, while being open during “church hours” is a horrific business decision to put it mildly. Okay, but won’t last.

My family (5 adults) came in about 30 minutes before closing. We were afraid we were too late and would be turned away, but the staff happily sat us without a second thought. The food and service were both phenomenal. I strongly recommend the bacon cheeseburger. It was absolutely amazing. The rest of family truly enjoyed their respective meals as well (pull pork sandwich, Philly cheese steak, cod, and chicken salad). Entire bill for all was a very reasonable amount. Will definitely stop back and try their desserts the next time I’m in the area. I highly recommend this great little diner!

This little mom and pop restaurant has great food at good prices. Their proportions are well worth the price you pay. I highly recommend the cod dinner meal, but most of their menu is above average.

The only real downside to this place is the hours. They hold odd hours that are inconvenient if you plan on stopping by after an afternoon on the local lake. My understanding is that the reasoning is due to being short staffed. After talking with one of the witnesses, she said they are trying to hire more personnel to stay open for more hours.

I called in and placed an order togo. I ordered a philly cheessteak and club, with a piece of pie. The Philly steak was dried out and crispy and the club had burnt toast and cheap turkey. I ordered 2 small sweet teas when I picked it up and they tasted watered down. Stood there forever while one lady behind the counter played on her phone and another sat down in the dinning area to talk to a customer. My bill was $38! Crazy they charge 10% for carry out. This was my first and my last time at Lighthouse Diner.

Everything was good except for my Poke BBQ sandwich, it tasted like something you get in a grocery store freezer. My wife’s food was delicious, and I did like my side dishes. I will definitely be back but will try something else.

Food was pretty good, but there is no way you should charge 10% gratuity for a to go order! So I can walk in and sit down and be served and tip whatever I want, but if I walk in and place an order to go, I get charged 10% extra? For what? For you handing me the food that paid for?

Fish was good The batter was a little thick and hard and it wasn’t cod fish on my opinion But the onion rings were very good A little over priced for what it was also a 15.00 bill with tip would have been more in line instead of 20.00 Which is high for a one person meal
