Stopped in for mid morning breakfast and was warmly greeted by the staff. There isn’t a lot of tables inside but I was able to find a seat. Order the egg sandwich and a bear claw with a cup of coffee. All of which were delicious. And of course I had to try the blueberry surprise before I left and it was just as good as the rest.

I ordered a delivery for coffee and their breakfast sandwich through DoorDash. The latte I ordered was amazing, no complaints(other than not enough to chug lol). However, I was kinda confused with the breakfast sandwich I ordered. When I opened it did not have the bacon or tomato that was in the description. Just the bread, egg and cheese. It was still good, but was not sure if maybe I misread. Overall not bad price and I like how they toasted the bread, was good minus bacon lol.

You know a place is good when you start formulating a review before you even finish. We ate the breakfast sandwich with prosciutto and tomato and biscuits and gravy. How can such a simple order be so…. light, buttery, comforting, timeless perfection? Loved our meal today.

This place has been here for ages and is wonderful.

Pros: The Italian toasted sandwich is terrific! Love it. The others look good too but the Italian… OMG.

Nice view, quirky place. You order at the counter and then take a table if one is available.

Cons: None really, other than a slightly disinterested teenager working the counter. But it’s so hard to get anyone to work here in PT that I’m ok putting up with it.

Can sometimes be hard to get a table.

Give them a try!

Beignets were very good and reportedly (by my mom) was the chili.
The tomato soup left much to desire.
Many flies and very busy.
I don’t know how regularly those tables are cleaned.
I recommend sitting outside rather than inside.

Day two of our driving holiday – we decided not to have breakfast at our hotel (The Historic Bishop Hotel) because we wanted something more substantial than croissants. We crossed Water street towards the sea, and went in to have a look at their food display. There were many items that look scrumptious. I ended up with the breakfast sandwich with organic egg, melted brie cheese, roasted tomatoes and greens, on a toasted ciabatta bun. My partner ordered blueberry brioche bread pudding with butter sauce. The food looked presentable, one bite of my sandwich tells me that this is not some fast food joint – the person in the kitchen really knows what he is doing. The roasted tomatoes were very tasty. The ciabatta was brushed with oil before toasting. And of course the bread pudding was awesome. It looked sufficiently dry in the cooler, but perfect for soaking up the butter sauce. We came back for breakfast again the next morning. I really regret that we didn’t come back for lunch as well, (as we got distracted by some quiche next door which turned out to be awful.) If we do come back to stay in Port Townsend, one of the reasons would be to eat at the Lighthouse Cafe.

Wonderful lunch spot with a view of the water. Lots of character in the decor and a yummy menu full of fresh ingredients and great flavors. Enjoyed lunch with my dad and we split the cured salmon sandwich and slice of warm citrus bread with lemon curd topping. Located on Water Street in Tyler Street Plaza.

Definitely one of the better restaurants in town. They have an incredible, fresh salad that my friend and I are addicted to. The Owner is kind and the place is perfect for viewing the ocean. You can also grab and go and have a picnic. Nothing bad to say. 🙂

We got there right at lunch hour and things were a little confusing. I ordered an olive and ham sandwich in grilled bread and it was fantastic. Took a gigantic cinnamon roll home with us. Considering the location it took awhile to park but it’s worth it to sit down and have a great lunch.

This place was amazing!

I went in with my toddler and received the best treatment, rapid service, delicious food, and tender loving care towards my daughter.

I was initially really nervous bringing her in because, well, toddlers do toddler things. But this visit turned out to be so special!

My daughter ate her ENTIRE bowl of black truffle Mac n’cheese (which is unheard of, she always walks away from her food).

The staff were so sweet and let my daughter help set the table. She loved that! Pretty sure she wants a job there now, lol.

We also shared the best damn chocolate cookie I’ve ever had in my life. Just sayin.

I’m not sure what kind of snooty-snoots are giving this place less than 5 stars, but our experience today was outstanding.

Thank you for giving my daughter and I a beautiful, memorable experience. Highly recommend.
