By far our favorite breakfast place. We come any day of the week and service is always the same. Food is consistently EXCELLENT! My husband is very hard to please and only like pancakes light. They accommodate him without complaint. Fast fast fast and a safe location in the EAST BAY.. Always packed and swift turnaround. Appreciate you!!!!!!

Everything from the food to the service is top tier! The atmosphere is very comfortable as well.
I ordered the Henkel sandwich but had it put into a breakfast burrito instead. The portions are so big that I couldn’t even finish half of my burrito and it’s affordable.
Most importantly, the coffee is refilled before you even finish your cup

First of all, the coffee is EXCELLENT. I drink my coffee black. I admit being a coffee snob. But the coffee usually comes before the meal, so first impressions start with the java. Unfortunately, good food places don’t invest in good coffee. So, a good coffee experience already tells me something good about what’s to come. The waitress came around and refilled my cup as well. Next, the food was plentiful and great! I had the Ross’s special, which was tasty, and hit the spot. Prices are actually reasonable for the times we live in, considering this is a “downtown” restaurant. There are only two criticisms I have for the experience – 1. They gave you toast with the meal, which is nice, but not necessary with the amount of food they give. That being said, it was sourdough, but the cheap sourdough that really doesn’t taste much like sourdough, and I think it was pre-shmeared with margarine (instead of butter). I took two bites and left the rest ( I hate wasting food). The other problem is early in the morning, the sun shines directly into the restaurant, either directly or from parked-car windshields, causing bright sun hotspots directly into your eyes at quite a few tables. They really should invest in window blinds ( or give patrons sunglasses). Other than that, I’d definitely return on my next trip to the area.

This used to be Big Daddy Ross’s down by Macavoy’s in West Pittsburg. This was my first time going since they moved. I had a bacon cheeseburger with onion rings on the side. The rings were a bit overcooked, but not burnt so they were still edible. The burger was very good. Service was very good.

Lighthouse Cafe used to be Big Daddy Ross’ Cafe in Port Chicago, Bay Point. They are as good in their new incarnation. I always go for the crab omellette, and it never disappoints. Highly recommended.

My husband order breakfast this morning through Doordash. The potatoes, English muffin were cooked burnt. You all need to talk to your cook & see how your orders are cooked before you send them out. Just horrible. Also check your bacon cuz it also had a funny taste to it. Had to throw away everything. Thank you for a burnt nasty breakfast.
