The food was really good, great price, buffet available, can order breakfast if you want, super comfort food. Had the senior meal which was well portioned. Severs, check out associate, and all the customers so friendly. Only draw back was the restroom which was terrible, timy and wster leak fro urnal. 5 stars for food service and stmosphere. $$

I was at the Lighthouse for lunch with five other people. After being politely directed to take a table, we sat and were promptly asked what we would like to drink, and soon afterward, we ordered. I ordered the breaded catfish filled plate with fried okra and fresh fries (there were other sides to choose from). The plate was served about ten minutes after the order was placed, and it came out piping hot. The fries were run of the mill, good but not special, and the okra was good as well; it was the catfish that was remarkable but not in a good way. I love fried catfish, really any kind of fish except sushi, but this fillet wasn’t great. It was edible, just not great – to much breading, not enough fish, and the fish was a little soupy. I ate it all nevertheless. The restaurant is great for seniors, and I’m sure everything else is great, but today, the fish wasn’t. Give them a try it is worth it (prices are reasonable), but I’d think twice before ordering the fish. Bon appetite!

OMG it was so good!! The fries were amazing also!!! House salad was ok. Nothing special about it. THEY HAD THE GOOD RANCH! (only the real fans will understand!) Definitely check them out if yall are ever in the neighborhood!!

Its OK for Port Lavaca not much to the town. Buffet is small but price is ok if you pay cash. Food is well ok some things better than other just have to go on right day good luck

Pancakes, bacon, eggs, hashbrowns are all amazing! Pancakes were fluffy and made from scratch it tasted like. Eggs are very good and not dry even when scrambled. Bacon is crispy and delicious. Love this place!

Great diner, gives a small town feel. The food is good and there are many options to pick from. Wait staff is super friendly. This is a place you atleast have to come atleast once when visiting.

Visiting my parents who really like this place, however I was very dissatisfied with the lack of customer service by the waitress, I believe her name is Christy. My 75 yr old father did not understand the menu and thought that his meal included a salad. When he brought this up to Christy, her response to my Dad was that “he should have read the menu better.” I was flabbergasted and told her not to speak like that, at which point she turned her disgusting attitude towards me to tell me that she was not being disrespectful and that she’s been very busy. I asked her to leave our table, which, she didn’t and continued to tell my Dad how the menu is worded. I do not care how busy you are, what I care about is good customer service. A little empathy for an elderly man would have gone a long way. P.S. You ABSOLUTELY are disrespectful.
