Ligaya’s is our go-to for a filling lunch with fast service. Each time we visit, their hot bar has appetizing options that allows us to try new dishes! We ordered the chicken adobo and beef stew with skewers on the side. Always great portions and friendly staff.

TLDR: Yummy yummy!
I’m not sure if this is authentic Filipino food, because I am not Filipino myself. What I do know is the food is seasoned so well and delicious. I could kiss the cooks in the kitchen, it’s so good. The pricing is beyond reasonable for the quality of food, the staff is super courteous, and the restaurant is very clean. Thank you to Firestone for taking 2 hours to do a wheel alignment on my car and forcing me to find a place to eat during my wait.

This place is a GO-TO MUST!
First of all, the atmosphere is inviting. Open seating, and very homey.
The employees are very nice, with a good sense of humor.
The food is amazing. During my two trips, I’ve had 3 dishes, and the flavor is authentic. Their TURON is exceptional WHEN they’re available. I also bought roasted peanuts with garlic, and I even went back for more.
I wish I could’ve tried all of the dishes, as based on the 3 dishes I got, they were great, including the LONGSILOG.

Ligaya’s Filipino Food left me thoroughly impressed. My only regret was not ordering more, as every dish surpassed expectations in terms of flavor and authenticity. The price point was surprisingly reasonable!
I’ll certainly be returning to explore more of their superb offerings.

The laing was as good as it gets. The tilapia was crunchy on the outside and plump on the inside. They even check quality/temperature of food regularly.

Delicious authentic Filipino food! I’m beyond excited that another Filipino restaurant has opened in Maryland, closer to me! Love the casual and feel-at-home vibe, combined with the tasty home-cooked meals that remind me of my mom’s & older sister’s cooking. The staff were super friendly & welcoming.
I came with my husband and friends, and we tried a lot of things from their menu. Sinigang (my all-time favorite Filipino dish), pansit, adobo, lumpia, turon, etc. Everything was 10/10! The halo-halo was out of this world! Loved the little sari sari store with the nostalgic Filipino snacks. Definitely highly recommend this new spot!

It’s very clean and organized. The food is price well. Very similar to other Filipino store. Bathroom is clean. Nicely arrange seating. The food has a good selection early morning. Sinigang was good. The only thing I noticed about the food is that the tapa is not tapa. It’s oily. Kinda like tocino. Normally tapa is fry to crisp. Second is that the corned beef isn’t Filipino corned beef. It’s American corned beef. They don’t offer water so bring your water.

There isn’t a list of entrees but the staff explained everything in detail to us, including ingredients and flavor profile. We tried 3 between us and they were each delicious. Will definitely be coming back.

This was my first time trying Filipino food, and it did not disappoint! I super appreciated the staff being so kind as to explain every dish to me, since I was so unfamiliar. I enjoyed my meal in their restaurant and would highly recommend visiting! I got the chicken adobo.
