I had been craving ramen for some time and decided to try a bowl from here. Now, when I first entered, I was greeted, but the place itself was extremely small, and there was stuff everywhere. I mean, there were take out orders on a few tables, boxes stacked high in the eating area, amongst other things. They then instructed I needed to go to the back of the restaurant to place the order. Now, as this was my first time, I had no idea where to walk to! With all the stuff in the way, where would I find the place to put in my order. I then scanned the qr code on a menu and started to place my order, but when another person came in and I saw where I was supposed to go, I was like oh. To get the full experience I decided to eat there although I wasn’t looking forward to that. There were a few picnic tables in the back that didn’t have stuff on it, so I chose one. My food came quickly, which was good, but I noticed there were no condiments on the table. No soy sauce, Sriracha, chili oil. I mean nothing! So I ate the ramen as served.

I ordered spring rolls, a jasmine milk tea bubble tea and a spicy tan tan ramen added with kimchi and shitake mushrooms. First off, my ramen was not spicy, so I was already disappointed. Then, when I tried the broth, it was missing the umami flavor that ramens usually have, so it fell flat. The broth wasn’t bad it needed more levels of flavor to really make that sing. So everything in the bowl when eaten together was just flat. Edible but not satisfying. The spring rolls weren’t anything special, and the bubble tea was blah. I’ve had better, and I ended up not even finishing it. I think the menu here is great, but the seasoning of the items and flavor of the broth, which is essential for any ramen, fell flat. I wouldn’t return, but I hope they consider fixing the chaotic presentation that is inside to not confuse the customer but to make them feel welcomed.

Delicious and tasty food. Fried brussel sprouts are my favorite. The fried Gyoza are yummy too. The Udon ramen is tasty and comforting. Service is fast, atmosphere peaceful. One of our favorite meals.

Went there for a late lunch, was VERY tasty! I had the Village Classic Ramen with added shrimp and a Pineapple Passion fruit Lemonade. It’s a little “hole-in-the-wall” with good music playing… everyone there was nice. Definitely going back to try some other menu items!

This was some really good ramen! Very good portions and flavorful. The boba tea was very good as well I just wish it was more flavors to choose from. Will definitely come back just wish there was more seating available.

The food is so good and packaged really well! Really fresh ingredients! I can’t rate atmosphere because I ordered off of uber eats but this place is amazing! I called before hand to ask them the sizes of bowls of ramen and was impressed by how much they give! Well worth the money to go here and I love the create your own ramen bowl idea because that’s why I tried here to begin with!

Lifting Noodles Ramen is a ramen shop located in a food marked called We Suki Suki in East Atlanta Village, along with many other establishments.

All they offer is pretty much ramen, although they have some appetizers such as Fried Pork Gyoza, Spring rolls, or Fried Brussel Sprouts.

I ordered two different type of ramen:

-Angry Zuko Ramen ($11): spicy creamy pork broth, pork belly, noodles, sweet corn, black mushrooms, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, scallions, pickled ginger, marinated soft-boiled egg, and roasted seaweed.

– Spicy Seafood Ramen: ($13): spicy creamy pork broth, shrimp, mussels, squids, noodles, sweet corn, black mushrooms, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, scallions, sesame seeds, marinated soft-boiled egg, and roasted seaweed.

The creamy pork both was so tasty, but the Spicy Seafood Ramen in particular was my favorite!

This place does not have many seating available so I suggest you take it to go. Staff was friendly and the food was amazing. Give it a try!

This place is inside of a community food place so I almost missed it and went into a Thai and Sushi restaurant 2 doors down.
Very unique and neat place – I’d like to try other restaurants in the future.
I ordered Classic Ramen which they claim is Tonkotsu Ramen – I make my own ramen from scratch, btw.
It was pretty tasty.
Noodles were bit too fat for Tonkotsu Ramen – as you know authentic Tonkotsu Ramen calls for very thin and straight noodles – but had nice body and perfectly cooked. Aji Tamago (seasoned soft boiled egg) also was perfectly cooked and nicely seasoned but I was most impressed with their Chashu (pork belly). It was perfectly cooked! Nice and soft and juicy but not too soft that you can’t pick it up with your chopsticks! I’ve had so many ramen noodles where they have nice broth and noodles but Chashu is so tough that you can’t even bite it off.
I’d give them 5 stars if they can improve with the broth. Its little weak. It needs to be a lot thicker in flavor to match those rather thick noodles.
But I do recommend this place.

A lot of ingredients packed into one $14 bowl of ramen – grilled chicken, soft-boiled egg, spinach, mushroom, bamboo shoots, sweet corn, scallion. Perfect for the frugal, health-conscious ramen lover. My only complaint was that the only way to order is by scanning a QR code, making a ChowNow account, and submitting an order online. The process is a bit too complicated when you’re hangry.

Their food is out of this world good! The chicken ramen is absolutely delicious, full of flavor and filling! It’s a more mild flavor than the spicy options, buttery and savory – a great base for the vegetables and chicken that they absolutely filled to the brim! Their eggs are so good I always buy an extra one or two. Their boba is wonderful, the milk tea is the perfect flavor and the boba is just right – chewy and sweet! My boba even had the cutest BH6 lid!

I’ve also had their gyoza before, fried or steamed they are delicious. Their Brussels are so delicious, fried and crispy with an awesome chili sauce. My boyfriend over the Spicy options, I can’t have them any more but when I could I also loved them. They are not shy about spice, so be brave and enjoy it!

For anime lovers The Zuko ramen and the Naruto ramen is awesome!
