I’m currently staying at this hotel for five days, and this review is specifically about the restaurant, which operates independently. Unfortunately, our experience has been consistently disappointing.

The service has been one of the biggest issues. Staff members have repeatedly been unfriendly, speaking to guests with visible annoyance, raising their voices, and showing little to no hospitality. In a tourist setting, basic courtesy and professionalism should be the minimum, and that has simply not been the case.

The food experience has also been frustrating and felt misleading. For example, we ordered wings and asked how many came in a portion — we were told eight. When the dish arrived, there were only six. When we pointed it out, the explanation was that “sometimes they send six if they are bigger.” This was never communicated beforehand, and it felt dishonest. If portion sizes change, that should be clearly explained before ordering.
Another very uncomfortable situation happened when the restaurant was completely empty. Because it’s winter and there were no common areas available in the hotel to sit, we sat at a table to quietly play a board game. We were told we were not allowed to sit there and had to go outside — in freezing temperatures (around 39–41°F) and during a snowstorm. There was no flexibility, empathy, or basic human consideration.
Overall, the experience has been defined by poor attitude, lack of transparency, and a complete absence of warmth or customer care. This restaurant does not reflect the level of hospitality travelers expect, especially in a hotel environment.

Gorgeous views of the mountains. Food was delicious, definitely priced for resort living. If you have kids and want entertainment, ask for Johnny as your server. He made our girls’ dinner so special. They also did a great job accommodating my daughter’s allergies.

I walked in with low expectations because of the terrible rating this place currently has. I’m happy to report I was dead wrong to be skeptical! The food was so fresh and tasted absolutely delicious. From the welcoming atmosphere to the friendly and quick service, my whole experience was fantastic. This restaurant is a definite must-try, despite what the current rating might suggest!

Billy did a great job. The bison burger was amazing and tender. Bison burger really good. Drinks fair deal and good. Overall this place doesn’t deserve 3.3 stars, they are very good and I was so happy I didn’t listen to the other reviews. Also good ambiance.

If you thought there is no way you can ruin an avocado toast, here you go- they did it! The avocado took a fridge smell, it was probably cut in half and held in the fridge. The greens were dehydrated. Who could eat this! I had to pay and get out and leave the food, because it was not comestible!
I said the egg over easy, it seems nobody heard it!

On top of that, one night I wanted to grab a drink next to the fire area, with plenty seating available and they did not allow me to sit there! The lady made such a face “uhm, no!”
Useless customer service, will definitely take this up to management

Dinner was excellent, ribeye with mushrooms and bread bowl clam chowder by the fire served by the awesome Crystal!

Breakfast was excellence again; veggie omelet with eggs and country taters served by the fantastic Lauren!

Will be eating here again next trip 🙂

I’m actually shocked at the other reviews. The host and server were phenomenal- we felt like they wanted us here. Food was good and drinks were GREAT! Hard to find spirits out in Brian Head, and they have a full bar. We say at the fire table and will absolutely come back!!

Reasonably priced. The food was good and the staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend the chicken wings. They are good portion and tasty. The drinks were a good price. Portions were good, but it is bar food. Our disappointment was the outdoor fire pits they would not turn on because of not many people in the resort. There are not a lot of choices in town, and I feel that they would have attracted more customers.

The food was just okay, definitely not worth the price. I ordered the vegan penne pasta with Alfredo sauce, but it wasn’t Alfredo at all. It was bland and tasted more like an oily cheese sauce. Paying $30 for that was wild. My total bill came to $100, and for what? The place is seriously overpriced.

The only bright spot was the Bloody Mary. Even that had an issue, though. The server accidentally handed my drink to another guest, who I believe took a sip. Instead of making a new one, they just swapped out the straws.

Overall, I’d say save your money.

We had two meals here during our three night stay for skiing in Brian Head, breakfast on day 2 and dinner on night 3.

Breakfast: sunrise special with over medium eggs, bacon, English muffin, and potatoes O’Brien and then an eggs Benedict with normal potatoes

Dinner: both of us got the prime rib sandwich with a loaded baked potato and two drinks to go with it, a spiked apple cider and the spiked hot cocoa. The drinks were not skimpy at all!

We enjoyed both meals, breakfast is breakfast, but the sandwich was extremely tasty, especially the horseradish aioli on it.

Yes, it’s a little pricy, but everything here is. Part of a resort stay, it is what it is. The portions help make up for the price.
