Toast, pastry, and a latte. “Don’t bother me, I’m eating!” My review could end right here. But Life’s a Grind is SO much more than any individual components. The STAFF are simply amazing and are like a family!! They are so welcoming, warm, and caring, that the vibe in this cafe is truly extraordinary and unique!! The coffee is great, and the food is amazing. It is all lovingly hand-crafted, and the avocado toast is other-worldly!! This cafe is a gift, and spending time here with the staff and locals is now a hard-wired part of my daily routine! And they really love all the little tykes, too! If the staff ever collectively asks you, “Who is your favorite?!?” Just smile and say, “Yes!!!!” There is no wrong answer here!! Keep it up Wonder Team!!

It’s a place where I love bringing my kids and their friends; the warm, inviting atmosphere always makes us feel right at ease. I especially treasure the days I work from home, as they begin with a trip here, setting the perfect tone for the day. The drinks here are absolutely delicious! The wait is a bit longer than other places, but you can really taste the difference in these hand-crafted, made-fresh drinks. I tried a breakfast sandwich as well, which was a bit small but tasted very good. The place looks very clean, the staff is welcoming. The only downfall for me is the place is small, which allows for some people (no manners) to push you out of the way. Other than that, it is now a favorite coffee shop for me.

Been coming here for years, ever since this shop opened up. I have to say the customer service and coffee is the best in town. This is my first stop when starting my day! All the girls are the sweetest ever and their coffee fuels you up to get your day started! MUST TRY 🙂

Stopped here on our way to Yosemite. Talked with the barista and ordered off the secret menu and it was delicious! Super friendly staff and excellent coffee & food. Such a great experience that we decided to stop in again on our way back home. Would highly recommend if you are traveling highway 99, stop by this gem of a coffee shop.

Everytime I go into It’s a grind, I am impressed on how this team conducts themselves and how consistent the are when they make my Chunky Monkee!
I have been going in there for over 3 years and once I actually fell outside when I slipped off the curb and my 2 coffee drinks fell on top of me. The staff came out to help me up and see if I was OK They cleaned me up and they even made my drinks again.

ife’s Grind is hands-down my favorite coffee spot in Galt. The team always greets me by name and somehow remembers my order every time. The coffee is consistently great, the food is fresh, and the atmosphere is welcoming without trying too hard. It really feels like a place that values its customers.
