I called the zlics on Lincoln in Jan 20 to have a strawberry ice cream cake specially made since that flavor isn’t readily available to be picked up on Jan 22. Someone from the business called me prior to picking up and asked what kind of sprinkles, what I wanted it to say..Happy Birthday Dad..the employee said they had sugar they could put on top to which I said I was fine with. The employee asked what color I wanted and I told them I had no preference which I assumed they were talking about the sugar. I go to pick up the cake and was completely beside myself at what I had just paid $36 for. I have ordered several cakes through the years from Lics but this will probably be the last.

After eating at this location for over 50 years, I’m sad to report my lunch experience at the Lincoln Avenue store. Stale crumbs and the hidden burnt side of grilled cheese. I would have been happy to wait for a new sandwich, but instead of saying they burned it, they sent it out the window. Super disappointing.

I just cannot deal with this place, I had a bad experience a couple years back in Owensboro. And it was just exacerbated by the management who really wanted to learn nothing but excuses. Well, I gave them another shot a couple years later in a different town. And you get the same thing. I know this is gonna sound really trivial and that’s fine, and if you don’t think that, I don’t write good reviews and go check out the rest. So I have this conversation with the person in the drive-through about ice cream, and they asked me about whether I want it double dipped or single dipped and I start asking questions about it as we’ve already decided what flavors and all. Just to say oh by the way yeah we don’t have the cones, so do you want something else? So then when I ordered and I asked for the certain ice cream they were like you really want that? Yeah I give up on this place. If you want to go you go I am not a fan.

I ordered a “Chocolate Shake made with Dutch Chocolate Ice Cream”. The cup was only 3/4 full, which was disappointing. The taste was good though.

went the other day with my daughter and paid $25 for two basic meals. they charged me for pickle slices. i also asked what was on my sandwich and they didnt know the ingredients and my sub came with really spicy mustard. seems like price gouging. will never pay that amount of money to eat two basic deli meals again. charging for pickle slices is insane.

Went in to have a quick lunch. The guy at counter was friendly. It was very nice to have an adult wait on us. He smiled and had manners. The chicken salad sandwich was excellent. The price was reasonable. Would recommend going here.
