The service was alright but the food was inconsistent in its temperature. The refried beans had gooyd flavor. The rice was extremely mild. The enchilada sauce was watered down. The cheese was not caramelized on the plates and the beans and were barely warm. The salsa was fermented but they were unaware making it unintentionally fermented so that makes me question food safety especially since I was told it was made today.

Amazing service! Large portions of food! Kind of pricey. We got the chips and salsa and felt like the salsa could definitely have a little more kick to it. I got the New York strip steak and it was cooked exactly the way I requested, medium rare. It had really good flavor and was enjoyable. The southwest chicken was a very large portion of food, but it was lacking in flavor, even though it was smothered in a green sauce and cheese. The food was good. It just wasn’t great. It definitely could use more seasonings to jazz up the flavors a bit.

My fiancé and I were traveling a lot during the holidays and we booked a room late next door to this place. We drove up and my fiancé inquired about closing time and we just arrived at closing. We inquired about food elsewhere but the staff was more than happy to get us in to take our order. We understand how inconvenient this is when customers show up at closing. We both got the 2 taco plates and it was fresh, hot and delicious! We will eat here again. Thank you to the staff for such friendly, welcoming, and generous customer service!

My family and I love enjoying lunch at this restaurant when we visit twice a year fir about 4 days each time from our Phoenix home.
The whole staff here is very friendly.
Especially when we had lunch there around noon on Monday October 27th.
Our food was delicious as always and our Server Megan was very kind,attentive and sweet, please commend her in front of her fellow employees!

We had dinner at Licano’s on Sunday. The service was pretty good but the food wasn’t very tasty. It seems like the restaurant is going downhill. Much better food at El Charro Beer or Los Corrales.

Pleasant place to grab a bite to eat. The decor was festive and inviting. There is a separate bar and restaurant area. The prices were a little pricey with one tamale a la carte being over five dollars and single taco being about the same. The salsa served with the chips and dip was very delicious! Portions were average sized.

Went there with a group of 7, 5 adults and two children for dinner last night. Paid our bill with a 20% gratuity. Realized after we got home they had added 18% gratuity already to the bill. So we gave them a 38% tip. It may have said it somewhere on a menu that a gratuity will be automatically added with six or more people. And yet I think it would be courteous to mention to their patrons that a gratuity has already been added. Not too much to ask if you want repeat customers. Not worth calling back and complaining. I’m sure the server can use the extra tip. Just not great practice and something she would have no doubt noticed when she collected the bill and by the way when she brought the check and a pen to the table in the first place.

Nice place on the east side of town. The Fajitas were cooked just right and I was given a good amount of sour cream and avocados for my hot sizzling fajitas with fresh tortillas. Oh yes. They have chips and dip too! I think I’ll eat here again when I am in Show Low. Me and my grandfather very much enjoyed ourselves here. A good place to eat.
