The best place to grab a bite or a drink on the west side of campus – infinitely better than the UW options and incredibly convenient for the engineering departments. Staff is always friendly and the vibe is always fun. Midday during the week, it’s also a cozy spot to get a cup of coffee.

Pretty solid and tasty menu. The lunch special is also usually a very safe bet for delicious variety and a blessed escape from decision making for your food. You will have to choose your own beverage though and there are plenty of options. The staff are friendly and will help you out with a recommendation if you get stuck. When the weather is nice, it is a great place to get some drinks out on the patio and unwind. Very popular for lunch and happy hour so be prepared to wait for a table.

The library is my bf and I’s favorite spot on campus. This cozy little nook is tucked away right in the middle of the intersection across from the engineering campus. No parking lot means the only way to get here is on foot. As far as seating, there’s the bar, high tables, and normal tables along with a nice big L couch right in the middle.
