As a community café, the sandwiches, salads and baked goods we create are a direct result of our customer feedback. We provide catering services for groups using our meeting rooms and have the flexibility to provide hot Coal Creek Coffee for 10 or a lunch buffet for 50. We also have carry-out coffee totes and provide to-go orders for meetings held off-site. All proceeds from The Library Café benefit the Laramie County Library System’s services and programs.

My spouse and I meet frequently here for lunch as it’s within walking distance of both of our jobs. It’s a wonderful little cafe with great sandwiches, grab-and-go items, and delicious baked treats! The coffee is also some of the best in town and you can purchase a bag of locally roasted coffee beans (they’ll even grind it fresh for you!) to take home. The meal deal is fantastic for a quick and relatively healthy lunch, and they have options for smaller appetites if you need lunch for your kiddo or a snack. Seating is better in the summer, fall, and late spring as the indoor seating can get a little cramped during winter. The staff is always kind and cheerful, and I’ve never had a messed up order or anything like that. This is honestly our favorite little lunch spot and a wonderful community resource!

The coffee is always good. The mid range rating is because they consistently don’t listen and get orders wrong…for me anyway. In the first situation, I asked for iced coffee. Got super hot coffee. To the point you can’t even hold the cup with a sleeve on it. Second situation, I asked for an oatmilk latte. I stood there and watched her pour whole milk into the cup. Now…I’m not allergic to dairy, it just doesn’t agree with me great, plus I perfer oatmilk. But this could be a serious situation for someone else.
The first time my coffee was $4.95, I talked it up to people that is was great coffee at a great price (despite the error in the order). But this time it was $7 something. I know…this is a first world problem. But it would be nice to get what I ordered.

The Library Cafe is an absolute gem. Great selection of hot and cold drinks, grab-and-go salads and sandwiches, plus cookies and pastries and other snacks. And the staff is wonderful. Highly recommended for a quick, easy, affordable, friendly lunch or snack downtown! The $9 meal deal gets you a sandwich or large salad + drink + side.

Great food and service so far everytime I’m in. Plenty of outdoor seating, could use more indoor seating. I enjoy coming to eat at the cafe during my breaks. Overall a great experience. I love their meal deal. Prices are very affordable and the food and drinks are good quality.

I come here about 3-6 times a week, sometimes more than once a day. The staff is AMAZING and are always extremely patient and friendly! They never fail to go above and beyond each time I step through the doors.
